Yep I’m Bristol and there’s so many cases at the moment.
Its never felt this bad i don't know of any school without cases.
I'm not sure if we last until end if term just 7 school days left until end if sgc term although we away this week so have 3 days left if bubble not burst for 3rd time by then.
My 11 year old has senior summer school.

I plan hibernate and be bit cautious this summer I can control that.

But September makes me nervous as 3 different schools and 2 kids on first bus.

No guidance from head office on masks in his non essential retail job.

In South Africa we have been in lockdown again, and all restaurants closed and alcohol banned. The first lockdown we only heard of a friend of a friend that died, but now people close to me passes away daily. Political riots started in my city and shops are being looted and petrol bombs thrown on buildings, Trucks and shopping centres being burned down and people killed. I am so so fearful, driving into work every day as i am an essential worker, and for the first time i feel this is never going to go away. I feel i am living in a country that is in war.

That's so scary none of uk mainstream media is showing this.

So when they talk of restrictions potentially returning in September, what do you think they mean? Social distancing and masks or return to lockdown and closure of business/return of furlough etc?
Personally, my mental health won’t take another lockdown. I just hope enough of my friends and family will be happy to go against restrictions to socialise otherwise I am scared for myself 😣

New BIG announcements in France, by the president:

-health passport setlled (cinemas, restaurants, shopping centres and so on...)
-mandatory vaccination for the health workers
-covid tests won't be free anymore in autumn

Just after the speech, there was an absolute record of connections to take an appointment to get the vaccine lol (which is the point of these measures).

well if Covid tests aren’t free, less will get tested and case rates will drop. Win 🤣 I wouldn’t get tested now unless I was at deaths door

Why are they charging for tests then? Surely that’s just gonna make people not want to get tested… seems a weird approach to me.
