I don't see many businesses using one when they don't legally have to because if they do people will go make a business busier that's not asking customers.

Honesty can’t keep up with the lies anymore, didn’t they just say this was being ended in August?! It’s going to be a nightmare, we’ve already had various places near here have to close for a week at a time because someone or a staff member tested positive. There is no freedom knowing at any moment we could be forced into house arrest. Anyone who is still using this app is mad.

Hope you feel better soon.

My kids are hyper now but are snotty and occasionally cough , especially when they wake up .

I had plans for this week before the schools finish. I'm not sure what the etiquette is for being in public with a runny nose.

They are still employing for covid roles where I am

I genuinely cannot fathom who can afford to use it nevermind anything else? Literally everytime you even pop out for a coffee running the risk of having to isolate for a week and a half. Who can afford that honestly more than a few times in this climate? It's insanity.

School based isolations will be managed by test and trace from sept.

If your not vaccinated you will still have to isolate

I assume you will be contacted if vaccinated and told you were a close contact as well

Have you seen the 'Superlab' that's just opened ,can turn over hundreds of thousands of tests per day it's going to be part of the new normal .test,test and test again .

They're changing it on Monday so it won't be as sensitive as it was.
 
I'll be going to back to the office next month and no masks or social distancing will be in place. The only thing they are keeping are the plastic screens, only because they have nowhere to keep them.

Don’t you get paid for the period you isolate if the app pings you? Some people probably love it!

I don't know to be honest I've never used it. I was under the impression it was only sick pay though which would be alot less and that only people on particularly low incomes could get the £500 one off thing. Could be totally wrong though lol.

So having you go back to do what you are capable of doing at home and keeping up screens that have been proven to be less safe as the virus cannot rise it just sticks to the screen, unless the screen is cleaned say every hour to make a difference.

Yep!! The only difference at the moment is where I sit. My job role is exactly the same. Its quieter at home as there is no back ground noise in the office. Our parking spaces are gone so we're now having to walk to use buses to get in as there as nowhere to park locally. People will just go off on the sick.
