I really dont see why we need to wear masks.

Aside from medical professionals in hospital, I've yet to see anyone in every day life wearing a correct mask, wearing it properly and handling it properly

Exactly , most people I see have it just below the nose , I do it , I start off with it all over but then it annoys me so I pull it down so I can breath a bit better

Plus pulling it down to reveal a bit of nose is the new revealing a bit of leg I like to give the ladies a slight glimpse of the nose to tease them then its back under the mask , always leave them wanting more

True, one without the other doesn't seem to make a lot of sense unless there's some other set of ifs and buts in the footnotes about booking six months in advance, distancing gone but masks mandatory or maybe have that as a strict either-or thing?

On the other hand it may well become a rule for no snogging anyone unless you are both wearing a facemask, in which case one would hope that those already familiar with that sort of thing can provide guidance and a list of universally accepted safe words

I tend to use the safe word "mmfffpphaaahhh" if my mouth is covered and can't breath during kissing , also waving your arms about and then passing out generally works as a rule , but the I like my leather mask tied up tight

Also, why are people so vocal about having one. Makes me cringe when I see a FB profile photo with "I have had my jab"or "fully vaccinated" I might put mine as "just had my smear" or "just had my ears syringed"

That annoys me as well. It's like a weird bragging thing. All adults will have the opportunity to be fully vaccinated in time .

They are probably really excited their not going to die if they’re not completely careful every hour of every day so it’s a great relief

There have been 15 variants identified in the UK alone. I believe 4 of them have been of concern. The vaccines have coped with all of them and look like being effective against the Indian variant. Vaccination reduces the spread of the virus and reduces the opportunity for variants to develop. So we deal with the risk of variants by encouraging people to be vaccinated, monitoring vaccine effectiveness and if necessary adjusting it to cope with new variants. What we don't do is to say 'to hell with it, let's give up'.

Even in the so called areas of concern we've had 0 deaths and hospitalisation went from 10 to 9.... cases are up because they surge tested. But nobody is dying and that number in hospital is barely 1 Bay on 1 ward!

So are you saying that there is no Vietnam variant? It's not really very clear why you think this will be used to justify putting back stage 4 of the 'roadmap' or why it's 'scaremongering' when the variant has been discovered and reported in Vietnam and not in the UK.

I see we're back in the position we were in a week or so ago where some people are getting terribly worked up about a decision that hasn't even been made yet.

im saying i dont believe anything anyone says from this government , we see the proof no one is actually dying in huge numbers from any variant , any putting back of our freedom and i hope people take to the streets
