Ireland have suffered enough maybe they'd be better used throughout the world the WHO have said the the pandemic won’t end until 70% of people are vaccinated https://www.news24.com/news24/world...until-70-are-vaccinated-who-director-20210528I am pro vaccine but wouldn't rush it to children. Any spare doses we have would be better used sending to Ireland as they share a border with the UK and countries in the Commonwealth.
I don't know how we've got to the stage where articles like this in the Daily Mail are seemingly normal.
It's his body and he surely still has the freedom what or not to inject in his body without being publicly shamed ?!?
His opinions might be his but he doesn't just represent himself. He represents his club and country, which means his opinions reflect on them, so much so that Exeter Chiefs had to release a statement and he had to release a follow up.It's his body and he surely still has the freedom what or not to inject in his body without being publicly shamed ?!
So people are only allowed an opinion if it's the "right opinion" and follows the government agenda. Jeez . Scarey. He's not advocating drug taking or anything illegal and I would hope his club aren't making it mandatory. His opinions might be his but he doesn't just represent himself. Journalists will always twist things to make a story and (in some cases) a juicy headline, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't have a responsibility to think about what he's feeding them, especially since he'll have had media training.
Hmm, don't think that's what I said though, is it?So people are only allowed an opinion if it's the "right opinion" and follows the government agenda. Jeez . Scarey. He's not advocating drug taking or anything illegal and I would hope his club aren't making it mandatory.
Not for anti Vax reasons any plonkers out there but for freedom of choice reasons
I used to think those who protest were selfish. Now I'd join in tbh lolMy area had 5 C19 cases in the last week, that is 0.0039% of the population. No deaths. We are also an area where common sense prevailed long ago, no-one really wears a mask and we have long since been socialising, hugging and germ sharing.
I am taking the children to the protest in London this afternoon. Looking forward to them seeing first hand that not everyone went along with this sham.
I wasn't arguing directly with your post.Hmm, don't think that's what I said though, is it?
What I said applies to everything in Henry Slade's life (or anyone else in a similar position to him). It reflects on his club, the club's sponsors, etc. Israel Folau is a prime example of how this all works.
There are similar clauses in contracts all over the world (not just sport), and guess what... all of that was in place before covid so doesn't just apply to any opinions on it.
People have always been shamed in the media for their opinions, which doesn't make it ok, but it's seen as 'the norm'. Maybe you've just not been as interested in those particular subjects to notice it as much as now when it comes to anything covid related.I wasn't arguing directly with your post.
My original post was asking how has it become the norm for it to be ok to publicly shame someone who chooses not to Vax.
But the way some people on here are quick to jump down peoples throats with a different opinion.....

It's a good read that. Funny though how many believe it now Biden says it, but a year ago when Trump said the same thing he was some bat tit crazy conspiracy theorist.
Biden hasn't said anything. Hes asked for a report from intelligence agencies.https://www.12ft.io/https://www.dai...s-finally-proof-Covid-DID-leak-Wuhan-lab.html

This is how those behind the media do it. They belittle and shame people and anyone not vaccinating is an idiot and should be mocked and shamed and held up as an example. The masses just follow and take the piss out of these people and have no idea its them playing Russian roulette with their lives, not those who are not taking the vaccine
I really dont see why we need to wear masks.Masks and home working could stay after June 21 if variant cases keep rising

If you go surge testing in a problem area banging on doors asking households to take a test there and then, you will find extra cases. The vaccines work and if people simply refused to take a test infection rate would go back down again.
I really dont see why we need to wear masks.
Aside from medical professionals in hospital, I've yet to see anyone in every day life wearing a correct mask, wearing it properly and handling it properly
