My daughters school sent home a pack yesterday with exercise books etc. I’ve attached an example timetable if anyone needs any help.....I’m def glad they did!!

Add another to the list of options - Just plain stupid. I have one particular person who is claiming coronavirus to be a prank!!!! Apparently it’s not real. My friend sent me this quite ridiculous video of fighting in a Tesco’s in my area. It’s always worse somehow when you see madness happening nearby, I know that’s illogical.
FYI she’s not the user “shabba racks” nor does she know them and neither of us understand the caption or what “Smokey sets” means.
Oh and it looks warped but that’s because it’s a phone video in portrait-it’s fine when you play it
 
Oh dear - can't sleep and watching QVC. It literally is like watching something from a bygone era. They were trying to sell luxury suitcases (nobody is going anywhere) and now leg serum for £50 ('so useful when you've been to the gym' that no one is going to).
Something once so normal and mildly entertaining now just seems so wierd and tone deaf. How can life change so drastically so quickly?

It’s extraordinary isn’t it? And we are really less than a week into the really serious stuff. Since trump's address say, or the uk government started daily updates. And it’s the very beginning as we keep being told. There’s weeks and months to go at the very least. Our lives will genuinely have to change, not this temporary holiday type atmosphere currently (not saying it’s ‘fun’ like a holiday, but still just feels like a temporary break from normalcy)
So many more people will get it. Who knows what else? If this much can happen in 6 days...what about 2 months?
Will we look back at this moment and think ‘we had no idea what we were in for?’
I don’t mean to alarm. These are just thoughts. And I think it makes sense to be ready, even though we don’t know exactly what for.
 
We’re flying home from Indonesia today. Flights all look fine. Nothing cancelled. Transfers still ok to happen. Fingers crossed!

I also work in a school and am supposed to be at work on Monday and I have no idea if I’m meant to go in or not. And I had only started a week and a half before I went away and all this tit went down. My daughters nursery said they’re not sure if they’re shutting or not. I have literally no idea what I’m going back to!

Only getting 4:5 hrs a sleep at the mo with teeth grinding this is all so worrying. When they announced school closing I cried my daughter (10) said it was the best day of her life. Well we will see how she gets on coming to work with me I’m in my own office so not worried she will have her own desk & night bring dog in for extra company 🤯

In Italy there were political reasons for letting the Covid-19 spread.
Intelligence knew about the virus since last December. "Casually" nothing was done, "casually" it spread in Lombardy.
Our government, that has no popular consensus, has more than one reason for generating panic and locking people home. They let things go wrong and are now trying to sell our Country as it was done with Greece by Tzipras. Not everyone realizes it but we are in the middle of a war (we have American Army and Air Force 2 in Italy right now). The situation in UK is totally different. You had Brexit and Boris Johnson (weather you like it or not), was democratically elected and he needs UK to be good and strong. He needs to support his Country at best. That's why he'll try to respond to this virus in his best possible way. Your big problem, as long as I know, is your public health, which is weaker than ours in the north of Italy, so it may be difficult to save lives if the pandemic gets too bad. But I don't think in UK you will reach our numbers.

And to think less than a week ago the weird wotsit, trrump numpty was saying live at his bloody podium... "It 'll go away". Why why why hasn't someone in the journos Q@A after, thrown his bloody quote back at him now he saying he is a war president??! Mr President.. Can you explain why you are a war president when 4 days ago you said categorically it will go away....😠😠😠

Differing information really and this has all been given to me by local people so please don’t take as gospel. In the three resorts we’ve been to there have been hardly any people (we’re probably safer here than at home right now!) and people are struggling with loss of income. Bali is going to stop all large gatherings and activities. Schools are closed and children are doing work online (from what I have seen there will be an ENORMOUS amount of children who do not live in a house with walls, let alone a computer) and sending the grades to teachers.

Oh they have. But remember this is Trump we are talking about. Rewriting history is his speciality, especially if it makes him look good.

Check this quite staggering video where he claims he was prepared before anyone else because he wanted to ban people from China first. As if that would have changed anything?! What about all the people from Singapore, HK, Japan and other of the early infected countries?! But no, it would have prevented the levels of infection “by a factor of many many many” 🙄🙄🙄
And it’s the media’s fault the US are being hit so hard for criticising him.
