Coronation Street #18

Ugh I'm so over Abbie and the 'deep fakes'. Most boring storyline ever apart from all the other very boring storylines of late...

Looks like the Paul and Billy love story will be over soon. Hurrah! They can't keep him alive much longer surely. I could be wrong though, the way stories drag on these days he might still be here next Christmas. Wonder if Billy will turn to drugs and vagrancy again in his grief when Paul does depart because wouldn't that be a good storyline - NOT. Maybe Kit will be his new love interest? Now that would put the cat amongst the pigeons.

I'm worrying about Lauren though whilst at the same time thinking she must be the thickest person on the planet and why doesn't she just go to the council and get herself homed. This is Corrie Land, she might get a nice council terrace on Coronation Street if she's lucky.

The baby was 1 agree ago it’s tiny that baby??

Yes Joel’s baby Maeve should be older. When Dee Dee found out about Joel having a wife and child back in February it was said that the child was a year old

“He claimed they split 18 months ago, and that his little girl was a year old. He told Dee-Dee things were not working out for him and his wife prior to their split, but when she fell pregnant they tried again.”

I'm thinking Jack set that fire but it will make Kevin look like he did it as revenge.
The Lauren thing is just ridiculous. Dob him and and get housed, why on earth would you live there when he tried to kill you!
Exactly! how would you sleep at night knowing that psycho could let himself in and finish murdering you in your sleep-
( Belle in Emmerdale doing much the same) People- if you escape a psycho.. stay the f**k away from them

Does Lauren go to her midwife appointments? Her midwife would help to find her housing surely. I don't know, one minute she's too scared to come back and get Roy released, the next minute she's comfortably alone with Joel in his flat being cheeky to him.

Agree about the deep fake storyline being so boring. I don't even care about Abby and never have any sympathy for her. As if a 13 year old would let a strange man in the house and play the perfect host 😅 more likely they'd offer him a gaming controller to join in.

Here’s a picture of that 1974 girly holiday that Rita was talking to Audrey about

Just caught up on Fridays episode im not really keen on stand alone episodes like that with just a couple of characters but they did do it really well
Hopefully it has brought awareness about mnd I must admit before this storyline I didn't know much about it and starting conversations that we should be having we certainly have in my family
I thought it would have been an appropriate time for paul to pass naturally at the end of the episode I just hope they don't drag it out too long and make it silly we know corrie like to drag out a storyline
