Shame they split up Alma and Mike. I felt their contrast in her kindness and his meanness worked well for the sake of storylines. They worked well together too. Linda was never a favourite of mine and I couldn’t understand why he was with someone like her

Yes I was trying to remember his other appearance in Corrie and knew it was to do with Hilda but couldn’t remember how. He seemed to make a career of playing thugs for a while

I make no apologies for saying this.

Corrie of today is crap in comparison to Corrie of yesteryear.

It is as if the production staff of today don't know how to make hugely entertaining soap.

Corrie started to go downhill in the 2000's, it started to nosedive in the 2010's and will probably be in terminal decline in the 2020's.
