You mean social worker Donald Worthington? The guy who placed Sharon Gaskell with Rita and Len. Plus later on, Jenny Bradley with Rita.

We saw Brian Capron as Donald Worthington near the very start of the Classic Corrie run, in 1986.

Also in August 2000, Bruno Langley turns up as Darren Michaels, in a pre Todd Grimshaw role.

On the 8th December, so a little while to wait until we see it again.

Edit: It was the first live episode since episode 17 in 1961!

I recall it well, I broke my leg that evening but still managed to record it on the VHS. After 2,weeks in hospital I came home and was able to watch it!

They could have gone that direction with Fiz and Tyrone but instead made them are dreary and boring as everyone else.

I used to think this but my brother did a tv project with her last year, got on really well and now they go on double dates together with their partners. Apparently she’s dead nice. The Fiz character could have gone in a better direction - I just think the writing and character development on the show has been awful for about 15 years.

That's nice to hear. The last time I caught it on the off-chance she still seemed to be part women/part child in a relationship with Tyrone (?) she was still talking like a stroppy teenager rather than a grown-up woman with a child, but yes, you're spot on, that's the fault of the writers and them not developing characters.

Not seen one. She is very near having the baby (May2021) and I can't remember how they wrote her out and google is not helpful.
