This was Olivia Rodrigo's event, there was no need for her to kick off at it and make it about her. I like her music but she's a moany bastard and it's very off putting.https://www.12ft.io/https://www.12f...emands-photographer-apologize-red-carpet.html
Chappell Roan really needs to pick a lane. She’s angry all the time at the basic factors of fame; photographers shouting at you to turn is not a personal attack.
People asking you for selfies or autographs is tiresome I’m sure, but bawling out about it is whiny at best and bleeping ungrateful at worst.
I like her music but she’s starting to come across as a spoiled bleeping brat, which she is likely to wear as a badge of honour, but when you don’t have a solid body of respected work, and an established long lasting fan base is a fool’s move.
Nobody likes a whinger.
I felt like there was something “off“ about her, and couldn’t put my finger on why, just a “bad viibe”
But if this is true it’s like she’s the Jack Monroe of music, and has fabricated her backstory a but.
Dennis K. Chappell, born May 24, 1944 in Stuttgart, AR, passed from this life in his home in Bolivar MO, surrounded by family on September 22, 2016, aged 72 years old, after a brief illness. Dennis was a local business man, being one of the original partners of Proctor-Jarvis-Chappell Insurance Agency, later to do business as PJC Insurance of Springfield, MO. Innovative in all areas of life, and unwilling to accept the status quo in his pursuits, Dennis pushed for increased technological advances throughout his successful career, allowing him to enjoy the comfort provided through aviation, as an accomplished pilot and also to live on, and be a principle owner of, Silo Ridge Golf & Country Club in Bolivar, MO, where many hours were spent in his retirement years, perfecting his game.
There are far less opportunities to make money from music these days. Pretty much the only people who can afford to go down the artist route these days have money to cushion them or to fall back on. Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, Lana Del Ray etc...they're all full of tit about where they come from.I don't know why pop stars still pretend like they came from nothing when they are almost always from well-to-do if not straight up rich families. Taylor Swift doesn't pretend like she's from the holler and it hasn't affected her career one bit.

Have Charli and Lana ever claimed otherwise? The smartest thing is to just not talk about your background. Who cares what your parents do for work?
This isn't standing up for other female artists. Instead she's taken all the attention off the event she was at - where she was supposed to be supporting her fellow female artist Olivia Rodrigo's GUTS premiere.Maybe I’m wrong but I feel like she’s not just standing up for herself but in doing so she’s standing up for other female artists. I’m sure they’ve all experienced aggressive and rude paps before but as women we are told to laugh it off.
Her and Olivia are friends, I’d support my friend standing up for herself at one of my events and I’m sure Olivia probably understands more than we do how aggressive paps can be.This isn't standing up for other female artists. What was the pap doing that was aggressive? Her and Olivia are friends, I’d support my friend standing up for herself at one of my events and I’m sure Olivia probably understands more than we do how aggressive paps can be.
I don’t have the details as I wasn’t there but it’s well known that paparazzi are aggressive and antagonise female celebrities to make them look crazy. It’s always been that way. They get the ump if you don’t give them the shot they want. What was the pap doing that was aggressive?
He told another pap to duck off months ago, Chappell decided to square up to him on sight this time. She's taken all of Olivia's headlines.
How is her calling out one pap going to make an industry wide difference?I don’t have the details as I wasn’t there but it’s well known that paparazzi are aggressive and antagonise female celebrities to make them look crazy. Starting a trend and empowering other female artists to do the same? How is her calling out one pap going to make an industry wide difference?
Not sure that will work given that the news stories around this aren't the most positive and it’s mainly her own fans who are supportive of it - the average person following celebrity news/gossip mostly appears to see this as her wasting her energy and being unprofessionalStarting a trend and empowering other female artists to do the same?
