I understand they both want kids and have made that clear to each other (as well as everybody else). But there's such an almost naive optimism that they're publically treating it as just a fact that it will happen for them because they want it. There's so many reasons that kids could potentially not work out for them - through nobody's fault, just nature being unfortunately unfair - but they're setting themselves up for a much bigger heartbreak with all the public comments and big performative displays (e.g. already buying toys for their future kid, writing letters to them, etc) if they don't essentially get lucky. 😕

I'm only in my mid-20s and not dead set either way about parenthood, but I've already had friends my age cry to me about how desperate they were to be parents but it didn't look possible for them. One friend recently announced their first pregnancy and we were all thrilled because they've been trying for years and they're only in their early 20s. But it definitely is heartbreaking when you know how much someone wants a kid and yet they obviously still don't have any.
I can only imagine how much worse it'd be making thousands of strangers being painfully aware of that (especially when there are always fans with zero social awareness yet all of the entitlement when it comes to private matters, never mind public knowledge).

Definitely the one that got away. I do think you can move on from someone you thought you'd be with forever and find true love again, but cheesy as it sounds think it's important to find yourself again first, and to have time to get over them. She absolutely didn't but ran head first into an intense and fast moving relationship, I think once things slow down and she has chance to catch her breath she will have regrets.

She spent 4 years imaging herself as Mrs Ormson raising little Ormson. I remember once on a livestream, years and years ago, when someone made a joke about "marry me" and she went "I have a boyfriend and I'm hoping one day he'll propose to me." Two days later he posted a YouTube Q&A saying he never wanted to get married. If she had been realistic from the start and decided to say no if this was a dealbreaker to her, she wouldn't have had to unlearn 4 years of unrealistic dreaming

Oliver publicly acknowledged his love for Alessia in way he never did for Carrie in their whole 5 year relationship. That’s got to hurt.

Was wondering exactly the same thing? Is he just making things up now to be more relatable to Carrie, like you see you and I are the same, we want through the same things and I understand you kind of BS?!?!?!?!?! Or is he refering to when he was a delivery driver and not a 10 min on stage "actor" in the West End?!?!?!? 😂🤷😂
