I can't believe she's posted yet another woe is me I was absolutely devastated in this pic about a break up, this was less than a year ago and look at me now, engaged to a completely desperate plant pot! We've done this already Carrie, and it hasn't even been a year. Rushing into marriage is not something to be proud of. Rushing into marriage while still talking about how devastated you were when the love of your life left you is just tragic!

Like the other poster i thought this was an old post, can't believe she has created another one again

Neither has shared why but I don't think that was the deciding factor for him tbh. I think it was him being checked out / not that into her. We could spot it on social media, must have been pretty bad in person. And for him to be serious with Alessia pretty soon after shows he was mentally out of that relationship way before it actually ended. They were clearly not well-suited in many senses, not just the life goals sense

Carrie is 100% in her feelings at the moment because Oliver posted such romantic and loving pics of himself and his new girlfriend. Which he never, ever did with her. So Carrie once again has to reassert herself in response - villainise Oliver for blindsiding her, shout at us about how Joel is the true love of her life and frump up her appearance to show that she’s super cool and quirky and above it all unlike ‘boring’ miss super conventionally attractive Alessia.

But like, no one asked lmao? Especially because she’s already said this? This is like the umpteenth time she’s told us about what a horrible start to the year she had and how amazing everything has turned out for her. But she spends more time telling us how happy she is than she does just … authentically living that happiness? Truly happy people don’t have to constantly say it over and over again. Also Joel seems really defensive and weird atm, I’m dying to know if people have been saying tit to his face or if Carrie showed him this thread? We know she showed it to Oliver at one point so it’s v possible.

They’re both giving off the strangest vibe atm. Ever since she got back from Disney tbh. It honestly looks quite bleak from the outside looking in. Carrie clearly hates doing Panto and is scraping the bottom of the barrel trying to make it seem like she’s had the best year ever career wise when that’s just not the case. I respect the ability to look on the bright side and find the positives in any situation but that’s not what Carrie is doing.

She likes to peddle this vulnerable ‘keeping it real’ facade, but she’s anything but. She’s so ego driven and tries to put whatever spin she can to make herself look as impressive as possible. It’s like she can’t accept when things don’t go her way so she bends herself into a pretzel trying to reconfigure reality. The love of her life was clearly Oliver and he dumped her. She hasn’t managed to land any of her dream roles in musical theatre this year. Why can’t she just sit with these facts?

Stop trying to block the pain and disappointment by lying to yourself and your viewers. I’m bored of watching her insist till she’s blue in the face that boring Brecht plays that no one cares about and a 6 month rebound relationship have somehow made her blissfully happy beyond words. Especially when she’s telling us this whilst looking more sad and checked out than I’ve ever seen her in my almost 10 years of watching her videos.
 
I never ever understood Carrie and Oliver. He was so far out of her league I think it was friends with benefits and he was just too polite to end it / it came with too many perks

Also never in my entire life have I ever cried and thought ‘Hold on let me take a selfie’. That’s so, so bleeping weird and calculated and manipulative, in that you clearly mean to send it to someone or use it down the line

Also he can’t be the love of your life, Carrie when he’s not even the love of 2022

Yea he must have loved her on some level to stay with her for that long - can't imagine anyone withholding themselves from happiness for the sake of perks lmao - but it was definitely a contained love and nowhere near on the level of what he feels for Alessia. Some day he must have realized wow I am holding myself back by being here

This is wrong - it's like peak tourist season here. You can hardly walk anywhere, and some streets have gone car-free to be able to handle the crowds. Based on the photos they shared, it looked like a very expensive trip. He's never had to pay rent though so I'm sure he's got quite the savings 😆

Helicopter tours here are pretty cheap though (compared to other places I've traveled). I did one a few years ago and it was around $170 USD - Google is saying that is like 140 pounds.

Out of interest, why do people assume Oliver never paid rent?

I think people make this assumption because Carrie was such a huge simp for him she would have done anything to keep him around. I don't think it's true though - I think he contributed on some level to the mortgage. Definitely not an even split; why would he want to contribute half to something he isn't getting ownership in. So I think he got a better deal than if he had been paying market rent, but there's no way he was crashing for free with her. And I think that better deal was a big reason he moved in with her when he did, to be honest.

I see. I mean, he may be a freeloader, but he may also pay rent to his home owning partners 🤷🏻‍♀️ He might just not waste his money on shite like Carrie does (a daily coffee, snacks, donuts, gingerbread houses etc) so he’s able to have a nice holiday away. I know I’d rather save my money for a nice holiday than buy some of the trash Carrie does.

I don't think he moved in instantly with Alessia, but I'm sure he lives with her now

Lol to be fair Carrie begs for most of that stuff (coffee, snacks, donuts, bath products etc) so she aint exactly paying for it either. But agree it's not unrealistic to travel when you save up for it. There's credit card bonuses and such too.
