I feel like Carrie should have pursued a career in ballad writing (not even necessarily singing them herself but writing them). I stand by her song Running Through Rivers being incredible. It would have been a much better job for her - she hates interacting with fans (unless they're giving her Lush shampoo or cinnamon social slices), she can't act, she doesn't want to train, she'll never learn to dance, etc.
 
Maybe her panto colleagues are sick of having a camera on them all the time. I know that they are performers so won’t be shy but having a genuine moment of fun off stage together and it being turned into a performance for Carrie’s vlog kinda ruins the moment. I’d be nervous and annoyed being filmed all the time especially as you don’t know it will be edited or seen by. Plus doesn’t she make money off YouTube videos so she is basically making a profit from them.

Yeah as someone who is private/doesn't post on social media a ton, I would HATE a coworker like Carrie. There's no way she asks them all for consent before filming and you're right she's just profiting off of their fun backstage moments that it seems they would prefer her not even be at

She is so bleeping shameless about seeing her audience as nothing but money bags. Some influencers put time and thought into Patreon content, spend time designing a product to sell, etc. and you can tell that - yes, that is a job for them, but they make sure they are providing something of quality in exchange for the money. Carrie is just like - pay me for a video of me speaking, pay me for this, pay me for that, etc.
 
Honestly maybe Joel makes a good partner for her because I really don’t see anyone else who is shameless enough to take her and feed into her antics. He seems to be just as ridiculous as her right now 🙄 Can you imagine one of her past male co-workers dealing with any of this? I’m surprised Ollie did

He's not good for her in that he will never challenge her to be better, but he does give in to all of her whims for sure
