Y’all definitely on the money - whether she’s consciously aware of it or not, this is a total reaction to Oliver.

Didn’t think I’d feel sorry for Joel but she humiliates him when she does this.

Ya I’d die if my partner made a post like that. The unresolved feelings are SCREAMING OUT. It’s awfulllllllll.

If you’re over something you feel just neutral towards it. CHF is not giving neutral.

I hate to say it but I feel bad for Joel. If my partner/fiancée made a public post like that about their ex I'd be utterly devastated. It's like you can never amount to the same kind of love and appreciation that they had with their ex, you'll always be second and you have to come to terms with that.

Maybe I'm being dramatic but if my S/O ever made a post like that on instagram I think I'd seriously consider flat-out breaking up with them...not just because it's clearly indicative that they're still not fully over their breakup, but I'd just be humiliated to be a footnote in a public ramble about how upset they were less than a year ago about another person.

And her "Thank you for loving me the way you do" reply is so, so unbearably telling that it's embarrassing she doesn't see it. She just wants a lapdog to kiss her feet and tell her she's amazing. She couldn't even muster an "I love you".

Also, yes...those shots of her in her coworker's dressing rooms are unbearably awkward. Nobody acknowledges her even once in any of the clips, not even a little bit. They're ignoring her as she repeatedly makes comments, dance without her, nobody even makes eye contact...these are the same people who filmed themselves smashing her gingerbread house and mockishly use her full name "it's ~Carrie Hope Fletcher!~"...how can she not see that these people don't actually like her? It's emanating from the screen so badly it's giving me high school flashbacks, lmao.

I really don't get the constant mentioning of how crap the start of the year was.
Well...I do. She's not over it (understandably) and seeing O&A having a great time together is crap.
Another reason why she should of stayed single.

Also if she was actually working on herself and her issues and emotions and working on healing I might actually have some respect for her. But she’s clearly gone off the deep end which is her own fault for not dealing with things. She is nothing but a bully, stop lying to everyone and yourself Carrie. You’re not over Oliver in the slightest and you’re certainly not plunged into happiness or in love, it’s okay too still be hurting and struggling but just be honest with yourself Carrie.

What’s going too happen when the relationship with Joel goes tits up? She’s already so unhinged. I wish she would open her eyes and realise you don’t need a man or a partner to complete you, and if she thinks this is her way of getting back at Oliver then she’s clearly delusional.

Neither has shared why but I don't think that was the deciding factor for him tbh. I think it was him being checked out / not that into her. We could spot it on social media, must have been pretty bad in person. And for him to be serious with Alessia pretty soon after shows he was mentally out of that relationship way before it actually ended. They were clearly not well-suited in many senses, not just the life goals sense

I agree, and I also think COVID did their relationship no favors. It is one thing to live together, but if there are cracks in a relationship, being forced to be together 24/7 will not help. I think captivity showed Oliver the big picture and maybe he realized it wasn't for him. Just my random thoughts, idk, but I'm happy to see him looking genuinely happy.

On another note, I think Carrie's newest post about the breakup is yet another gigantic red flag for Joel - I wonder just what it would take for him to understand that she is not over Oliver...STILL.

Joel has never had shrexy sex until now ( ) or have an actual girlfriend for that matter, so there is no way he will ever end this relationship. He is a simp. He will do and take anything to be with her.

Oliver didn’t post for a while after the breakup so we don’t know where he moved to right after. When a few months later a pic appeared of him in what seemed to be his new gf‘s bedroom, some people jumped to the conclusion that he must have moved in with her right after breaking up with Carrie. I doubt that, just like the assumption he never paid rent it anything at all while with Carrie. The thing with Oliver is that we simply don’t know a lot of things because he refuses to share them on social media so understandably, assumptions are made, and Oliver was never very popular while dating Carrie (like Joel, he was seen as simply taking advantage of her for his own professional gain)

I don't think so tbh, they're insults to me. She's compared to HBC clothes, not her talent. It's just Carrie that's delusional enough to think it might be a compliment because she thinks of HBC overall, but clothes don't make her that - her talent and her confidence do. Carrie has neither, she's just a failed actress insecure about her body and trying to hide it. Everything else is just bullshit she tells herself to sleep better at night.
