I have some actual tea on this. They didn’t get on.

From what I know.. his family are very straight talking, to the point, working class northerners. Salt of the earth. Lady Fletcher wasn’t fawned over or treated like a celebrity and she didn’t like it, so from there on made 0 effort with them.
Wether or not you actually know this or you're just guessing, it's not hard to believe. It's clear that she thinks very highly of herself and that she's special or better than everyone else.

Also she was never interested in what Oliver had to say when they were doing their terrible vlogs, so I doubt she'd have made a real effort with his family. All she wanted was the trophy to show off because she'll never again score a handsome guy like that.

Glad he found someone who cares. And bonus on the fact that she's also easy on the eyes and doesn't dress like his granny. 😂😂

Who would want to pay half a mortgage for a house they don't own? I'd have expected him to contribute with half the bills, food and other expenses but certainly not pay her mortgage.

Anyway she's pathetic with those lessons she offers, that's exploitation of young impressionable minds at its finest. She should be ashamed of herself for stopping so low.
I will bet that she won't declare that as additional income either.

Yeah...I never suggested he paid half the mortgage as why would he if she didn't add his name to the mortgage but he should certainly have been paying half the bills and half the food but at least she'll be saving 25% on her Council Tax now she lives alone !

Yeah I can believe this actually as I'm northern too and she probably didn't understand their sense of humour or their straight talking and they probably found her snobby and a bit posh!

Carries got nothing to worry about then 😂😂 she can put in no effort and they'll think it was amazing
Let’s face it.
It’s a 30 minute meet and greet for her fans.
What knowledge does she possibly have to impart. Her knowledge literally extends to appearing onstage.
I know how to fix the washer in my kitchen tap but I’m not about to set myself up as a plumber ....

Must've been a real shock to meet actual working class people and realise she's been telling herself and others a complete lie all these years.

Carrie Hope Fletcher #33 How to Act 101: The Face aka Zoolander Blue Steel

Advice from Carries unprofessional zoom classes:

- learn one expression and ace it! It worked in Zoolander, and the people in the back won't be able to see your face anyway

- it's really laid back. You can show up to rehearsals wearing doc martens and it'll make you stand out!

- you don't actually need to do any vocal exercises (unless you pay me another £70). The warm up is just so everyone can have a chat and go over anything

- making friends is important so always remember to bring sweets. Don't eat healthy food. The cast will love you more if you bring junk in. Making connections and month life long friendships is key!

- drama school isn't necessary. Make the most of the connections you have. Use your famous family/friends to get in the door.

Sorry but the nerve of her to charge £45 for a spur of the moment, half-baked ego boost is disgusting. Even if she was someone who knew how to act through singing, they'd need time to put together a structure for the session. She's basically asked people to tell her what they want her to tell them. It's a glorified 1:1 Q&A.
Trading standards should be informed:
Actual performing arts teachers are members of accredited associations. There should be more monitoring of this type of ‘teaching’
As my gran would term it ‘money for old rope’
As I would put it ‘scamming wide eyed fans into parting with cash’

At the BARE MINIMUM she should be describing what her ‘class’ entails before booking the slots.
The speed with which she has thrown this together without ANY INFO is enough of a 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩
Shocking really

There will be guidelines for working with under 18s for example
Something Carrie probably hasn’t even considered when drawing up her exciting new plan on the back of a Tic Tac box

I guess if they’re over 18 there’s nothing to stop her except her conscience if these are vulnerable folk parting with cash to get close to their idol and not receiving anything of educational value.
If they’re under 18 she’s also opening herself up to a lot of potential danger and possible accusations that will be hard to refute in a non public setting.
She needs to rethink and look into this more carefully before ‘plunging’ in.

Do we know what the 'process' is for teaching under 18's? Can anyone do it or does there need to be certain criteria met in order to teach legally and safely? Especially in a virtual setting?

Also, I absolutely love how she said "what would make you come specifically to me for a session?" Gee I wonder...
