I got told about it quite some time ago (while they were still together) by my good friend, who’s close to Carrie. Having met her myself a couple of times it was incredibly easy to believe.

In a turn of events I’ve since got to know Oli a little better (I won’t go into too much detail on the how, let’s just say he’s moving in different circles now) and he’s genuinely a lovely guy with mostly good things to say about his ex. Noticeably happier than when I first met him a few years back.

So you mean he’s got mostly good things to say about Carrie? Sorry I have to ask, but do you know what caused them to breakup then?

The line I heard was “things just fizzled out”. That can mean anything though really can’t it.

Again I need to be careful here in case anyone I know reads this - but yes, the one time I’ve been part of a conversation with him about Carrie he was actually really sweet. There were people (quite rightly) taking the piss out of the Carrie and Joel lovefest and he wasn’t really allowing himself to get too drawn into it tbh.. the odd laugh at other peoples jokes maybe but he didn’t really add anything other than at one point to say he was actually a bit concerned for her mental health.

Well at least he’s being mature about it, and I agree about being concerned about her mental health, I think she’s headed for a massive breakdown. Clearly the breakup was really hard on her, but the way she’s acted about it and handled it is just not good or mature, whatsoever. If you don’t mind me asking, have you heard how Carrie is doing now since she’s been plunged into happiness? Like how she’s really doing, not her putting on a front on Instagram.

Which is the way any mature adult behaves after a break up regardless of what they really think of the person. Carrie's the only one that has to ruin her exes lives by spreading tit about them (referring to Pete). Still waiting to see when she'll make a video about Oliver.

I’m going to book a lesson with Carrie, my request is that she teach me how to play Olaf.

It is only a basic check that you need as an actor- but if the basic one does flag anything up then you have to get the more in depth one. I know this mainly because I have done background work before and was told what I needed to do when the changes were implemented in the industry. Actors getting DBS checks was worked into all actors and crew contracts (including extras) in 2016! As actors are self employed they are able to apply for DBS without going through an employer. The actor applies through the government website and when they receive the certificate they send a link to their agent who is able to confirm with casting directors their actors DBS certificates. This should be the type of DBS Carrie has and she’ll be reminded by her agent when her current DBS is about to expire. The performer must apply and pay for the DBS themselves but as self employed they are able to get their money back as it is an expense they have to pay in order to work. The main reason behind the acting industry implementing DBS checks for everyone is safeguarding children.

She may also be on the update service where you pay a yearly fee which works out cheaper when the DBS is up for renewal plus it also renews for you automatically.

Other than it being evidently a massive rebound, I haven’t heard anything juicy, no. My friend who’s close to her has taken the piss (privately) as much as the next person but she’s not offered up any tea other than to say that Carrie has flaked on plans with her on several occasions since being plunged into happiness!

If I get any more gossip that’s safe to post I’ll keep you updated!
