Having to put on actual gym wear and trainers to run the marathon must have been a traumatic experience for her

This is what I don’t get. I used to think maybe she was very insecure about gym wear, but her marathon clothes are exactly that? A long sleeve zip up gym top, leggings and trainers. So simple.

Is she really that attention seeking that she insists on wearing floaty dresses and doc martens to a dance rehearsal? I know it’s petty af but I’m fascinated about the psychology behind it.

No offense but I just automatically don't believe anyone who appears with inside info on Carrie and Oliver, we have zero proof that they actually have a mutual friend with Carrie

Might just be me but I felt a bit sorry for Carrie reading what that poster said about her friend who is close to Carrie yet laughing at her behind her back. Who needs friends like that?

I was thinking the same thing, yes Carrie and Joel are OTP and ridiculous on social media, but if I were her friend instead of laughing at her behind her back I would go to her and seriously ask her if she’s okay. I would be concerned and clearly Carrie’s not in a good head space IMO, she hasn’t been since the breakup. Exactly, who needs friends like that? If it’s true, I can’t help but wonder who it is….

I got told about it quite some time ago (while they were still together) by my good friend, who’s close to Carrie. Having met her myself a couple of times it was incredibly easy to believe.

In a turn of events I’ve since got to know Oli a little better (I won’t go into too much detail on the how, let’s just say he’s moving in different circles now) and he’s genuinely a lovely guy with mostly good things to say about his ex. Noticeably happier than when I first met him a few years back.

But how did Carrie's close friend know that Oliver's family didn't like Carrie because she expected to be treated like a celebrity and fawned over? Did they tell Carrie exactly that? Was that Carrie's interpretation?

I can buy that Oliver's family may not have liked Carrie, but why would Carrie's close friend know the exact reasons why?

Likewise, who needs friends that make plans with you and then ditch you as soon as a man comes on the scene?

Carrie isn't a good friend, she doesn't deserve people being good friends to her.

I mean, this is something she can cover in a YouTube vid?
I just don't get her thinking behind this

Agreed. I don’t have much sympathy. She treats people like tit, makes everything about herself, and dumps friends when their talent threatens her. She also is acting stupidly with Joel, and I have no doubt that friends have already broached this privately with her, only to be shot down with that “plunged into happiness” nonsense. I’d start making fun of her behind her back too.
