Yep, he played really well today and throughly deserved to be man of the match.

Well, it looks like Brighton might be signing O'Reilly soon as they have agreed a deal in principle for him in a move worth £25million they might be having second thoughts about signing him now after Billy's performance today but if Billy does leave now at least he has gone out a massive high by getting man of the match. It is also interesting that after the game he waved to the crowd and was the last one off the pitch which would indicate to me that he is leaving the club.

I didn't see it either it's just what I have read and even if he does leave now at least he put in an excellent performance today it is just a shame that he hasn't stayed at Brighton for longer as I think he still has so much to offer. I mean this tweet just sums up Billy's performance today and I think Brighton fans will massively miss him when he does leave as it's clear that they realise what a talent he is.

I think he still has so much to offer as well. I think because he’s small and doesn’t score goals etc that a lot of people don’t rate him, but his football brain and technical ability are so good.

Would like him to stay in the PL but I do think he’ll flourish in Serie A if he goes.

I agree people assume that because he's only 5ft 7 and hasn't scored a single Premier League goal in his life that he can't be very good but as you said his football brain and technical ability are top notch plus his attitude is spot on as he gives 💯 in every game that he plays.

I would perfer him to stay in the Premier League but under Conte at Napoli I think he'll absolutely flourish and become an even better player than he is now. I honestly think the move would be perfect for him.

Yep he always puts his heart and soul into his performances.

I seen on Twitter he’s apparently travelling to Naples on Tuesday for a medical etc. Not sure how true that is, a lot of crap on Twitter!

Also seeing Liverpool fans saying he’d be the perfect no 6 for them. Him and Robbo in the same team! 😍

Exactly he is always willing to put his heart and soul into his performances as he will always gives every game his all.

Well, according to Fabrizio it looks like the move it still happening as he says that Billy is to undergo medical tests early next week and if that is the case then I can see the deal happening on Wednesday/Thursday as transfer deadline day is on Friday and I imagine that Napoli would like to get the deal completed before then.


I just think that if Brighton do sell him for £12/15million then I think they are giving him away as he is worth way more than that. I see it looks like McSauce is also going to Napoli as rumours are going around that there £25million bid has been accepted by United. McSauce and Billy playing in the same team yes please 😍❤
 
Looks like Scott is definitely on his way to Napoli according to Fabrizio and I have to say I didn't expect them both to be joining Napoli. I reckon that both of them will absolutely flourish under Conte.

McSauce is a great player, United play him out of position all of the time though. Wonder if Cami will move out there with him? I think she will.

Yep, McSauce is a great player indeed and I just think United are wasting him in midfield as IMO he is better as an attacking midfielder/forward as he is definitely more effective when playing further up the pitch. Cami will definitely move to Italy with him no doubt about it IMO.

I reckon Billy will have his medical on Tuesday with the deal being finalised on either Wednesday or Thursday. I think it's obvious who will fly out with him but we evidently can't say.

I think they would rather get rid of Casemiro but no one wants him! I know they tried to sell Scott last season & then he saved their ass a few times & was top goal scorer 😂

Yep Cami and Scott are solid, she’ll move out there if he goes. I do like her, she seems a genuine decent girl unlike some….

Billy’s family will be there, they’re what matters most to him 😉

I like Cami too as she seems like a lovely person and is someone who you can talk to especially if you have any concerns etc.

Billy's family will be there and support him with the move to Napoli as it will probably take a few weeks before he fully settles in but once he does I'm certain that he will thrive at Napoli but with Scott also joining them I'm sure that they will both fully support one another.

Yeah I don’t think they’d have signed Matty if Billy was staying?

Even though he was motm on Saturday I still don’t think Billy is guaranteed first team football. I reckon they want to keep him as a fringe player and for squad depth but he’s too good for that and he won’t hang around for that.

Yep, they wouldn't have signed Matt if Billy was staying so this is confirmation he is leaving IMHO.

I agree even though he started Saturday's match and was motm I still don't think he is guaranteed first team football either as they have too many midfielders now and will have to give them all game time and I just can't see all of them being happy if they are left on the bench. I feel the same as you they want to keep Billy as a fringe player, for squad depth and to bring him on for the last 5/10 minutes but I can't see Billy being happy with this role as he will want to play every week which he will 💯 get at Napoli whereas at Brighton I don't think he will.

Brighton playing in carabao cup tonight, wonder if he’ll start again or be in the team? Apparently Hurzeler trying to talk him into staying 👀

I can't believe the international games are coming up soon when we have only just started the season again. It seems ridiculous to have international games this early IMO as they should start them in October/November.

I don't think he will be in the team tonight as I imagine that Brighton will rest a lot of their key players and play the ones that haven't played in the Premier League yet. If Hurzeler is trying to talk him into staying then it suggests that he might see Billy as a crucial first team player but tbh I don't really see where Billy would fit into the squad especially when they have just signed Matt who was rumoured to be his replacement. I honestly don't know what to believe at the moment as Hurzeler seems to be changing his mind constantly as Matt was supposedly signed as Billy's replacement but now he is trying to persuade Billy to stay despite the fact that they have signed lots of midfielders which may lead to Billy not getting as much game time as he did last season. The whole situation feels like such a mess IMO.

Just like a suspected he isn't in the team tonight although Matt is starting so it will be interesting to see how he gets on.

Looks like Scott is on his way to Napoli as United have given him to go ahead to travel to Italy for his medical and contract signing.
