if the deal is off like this person says it is how come he isn't involved in today's game as surely is the deal is off he would have played or at least been on the bench. Tbh I don't think the deal is off as I don't think that this person is as reliable as Fabrizio Romano and until Fabrizio says otherwise I take this tweet with a pinch of salt.It would be a shame because I really can't see him getting much game time at all if he stays at Brighton as he will not want to be on the bench week in week out. But I think they’re all waiting on this Cajuste deal going through, which will hopefully be tomorrow according to Twitter etc

Honestly I'm speechless how on earth can Hurzeler say that Billy is back from his summer holidays when he returned from his holidays weeks ago, has been back at Brighton for the past 2/3 weeks and was included in the pre-season trip to Japan. As you pointed out Lewis Dunk played yesterday despite only returning to training last week and honestly it makes no sense as to why Billy didn't play yesterday as he would have trained for the whole of last week yet looking at these comments it looks like he never did. I'm really confused right now as to what is going on because how can he say that they need to adapt him to the intensity and training when he trained with the squad when they were in Japan etc.I don’t believe a word this guy says. The fact that there was no mention of this supposed injury that he had in pre-season more or less confirms to me that he had no injury in the first place and that he just didn't feature in the pre-season games for some reason. According to Fabrizio Cajuste has travelled to England today and is expected to be announced as a Brentford player tomorrow so chances are if this happens Napoli will put in their second bid for Billy.

agree with you that statement doesn't fill me with enthusiasm or confidence either because if he has said to Billy how he sees him and what his plans are with him this season how come he didn't play him in yesterday's friendly.By not playing him yesterday Hurzeler has made it perfectly clear that he doesn't see him in his plans because if he did he would have played in yesterday's friendly for sure. I don't think he was injured either because if he was he wouldn't have been training with the squad in Japan and would have been back at Brighton doing rehab etc. I honestly think with Cajuste signing for Brentford tomorrow Napoli will go back with another bid as I think that is what they are waiting for. It's only a matter of time before he's a Napoli player IMO.

I honestly don't have a clue as to what is going on with this move as I am reading that the move is close to being completed and that they have reached an agreement with Brighton but I haven't seen anything which says that Brighton have accepted any bid from Napoli. At first I thought they were waiting on Cajuste leaving but now I don't think they are as they seem to be after players left, right and centre at the moment so who knows what is going on. If he has got a muscular injury he must have picked it up in training, but I don't think Huerzeler said anything in the press conference about an injury so I suppose we'll wait and see. Huerzeler did say on Saturday that Billy would be back in training on Tuesday but it sounds like he may have suffered another set back of some sort.

Well, he came on as a sub in the 82nd minute today which meant that he had little time to make an impact, although in saying that Brighton were 2-0 up at the time and from what I am reading it sounds like they played really well with Mitoma being the star of the show.
