Why are so many Irish actors either crap drivers, or unable to drive at all? Barry's banned, Andrew Scott can't do it at all, Cillian Murphy only passed his test aged about 38.

I think it might just been an Irish lad thing. I worked in the courts for an incredibly short period of time and the number of driving offences (speeding, dangerous, drinking) I saw was... something.

Whew, you mustn't live in Ireland! The easy answer is 'people who grow up in the suburbs of Cork & Dublin don't need to drive in order to enjoy a social life'. That covers Scott & Murphy. I'm roughly the same age as those guys and I grew up in semi-rural Ireland.
I wouldn't be qualified to answer for a young Dub like Barry, though. Anyone??

I was going to say it’s a city person thing. I still don’t know how to drive and I’m 31. I grew up in Dublin where there was reliable public transport or I could walk everywhere I needed to go. I’m sure Cork is the same for Cillian.

No, I don't! I'm used to the Midlands countryside where public transport doesn't really exist. But even when I lived in a major city and didn't own a car, I still had a license.

I’ve not seen the cheating rumours from any reputable source. From what I’ve seen the baby was born when he and his ex hadn’t even been together for a year. So it makes sense that a relationship could be under strain when a pregnancy happens so soon alongside Barry’s career dramatically taking off because of Saltburn.

Him and his ex were definitely together when the baby was born. They weren’t together very long when she got pregnant and then his career skyrocketed so makes sense it would put a strain on it. I 10000% believe he gives her (maybe) maintenance for him but has minimal contact now.

They were very much together when the baby was born. She was in his stories a lot so was the baby. Salt burn took off & the baby hasn’t been seen for dust. The mother has him all the time so I doubt he is seeing him
