I just don't get it. She's claiming it's not her, but saying "thing's he said about me are not true." I know that we know it's her, but at no point has Gadd said it's her? So she's putting herself more in it.
If the character has done nothing similar to what she's done then she shouldn't be bothered at all because its not her!! Does that makes any sense?? hahah I feel like i'm losing my mind with this one.
 
I'm telling you, she'll be on 'Celebs Go Dating' next year.

But did he not say himself that he did not want to proceed because she was unwell?
 
I am so glad he got to tell his story, it’s very brave and I hope he finds his way of healing … maybe this is it.

But how much of what we have seen is the complete truth… If so, he did go to her house, he did look inside her windows , seem to get up set when she started to ignore him, went out for food/ drink with her, seemed to enjoy her being at the comedy shows until she went a little “more unhinged and he was masterbating to her photo, seems to banter her with his friends and sent a message back to her about *nal sex, who he claims was his “friends” ….

The above is certainly going to keep her going
( she obvs didn’t know about the photo until Netflix)

Her posts make uncomfortable reading but I do get the impression she’s enjoying the notoriety.

I don’t think Gadd expected Baby Reindeer to be quite so successful. Maybe he would have disguised her character more?

She has a law degree (from Dundee Uni I think) - she was a trainee solicitor in Scotland but lost that position (and then stalked her former employer).
Whether she then went on to complete a training contract elsewhere either in Scotland or England who knows - the original stalking was 20 odd years ago so it's possible, however you can't be a solicitor with any criminal convictions.
 
Watching baby reindeer once again… feeling way too invested than I’d like to admit…
As a survivor of serious SA myself, the first time round I felt completely triggered and I can only imagine the amount of survivors watching who felt the same. I understand all the different opinions on Gadd, but I can only applause Gadd for this work, I actually feel it’s a masterpiece how he’s managed to portray how everything isn’t always black and white. I’ve often had moments of feeling sorry for my abuser and think about where his need for power and control begins after coming from such a messed up background. There are so many emotions I’ve experienced over the years and Gadd explores many of them himself. It’s real, raw and relatable, and although like many, I can now see a tit show on the horizon with real Martha…. I also can’t help but think he’s opened the gates to many more real and raw productions like this. We live in a world where many people are waiting to tell their story. People want to be heard.
