Before lockdown I had a meal out (remember when we could do that?!) with a really close friend who then proceeded to tell me her husband had researched it and the vaccine was made up of foetuses, Bill Gates was trying to control us all and that Tom Hanks and Hillary Clinton were in charge of a worldwide pweirdo 'gang'. Especially when I remembered that about 18 months ago I was really concerned for the welfare of the children in a family that lives locally. After seeing the Mum many times, I really felt the children were subject to neglect. I came to this opinion after seeing her interact with her children many times. I suppose I paused as she is educated and in a very good job. Nevertheless, I thought about Daniel Pelka and all those other poor kids who had been let down and I reported her. I remember telling this friend and she told me to keep out of it and that the kids were bound to be fine. So it's OK to feel aggrieved and want to 'fight for' the poor kids who are in this apparent Hanks/Clinton abuse system and not ones that live around the corner?

What would be the purpose of the vaccine being made up of foetuses? People really are bonkers.

Someone I know this morning has said they’re having the AZ vaccine rather than the Oxford one because the Oxford one has foetuses in it. This is someone who is a successful business owner and lives in Geneva where they spend 300k a year giving children the absolute best private education he can buy...
A very quick Google tells you that foetal tissue is used in the production of loads of vaccines including many we have routinely taken! And they’re not actually using the cells in the vaccine itself just in the development of them because a) better human cells than an animals and b) foetal cells last longer. If you’re ethically not OK with it then I guess that’s on you but to genuinely believe you’re being injected with part of a dead foetus just baffles me (we’re needing to produce how many hundreds of millions of doses worldwide??). More so with this person who clearly values education for their children to the tune of so much money but can’t bring themselves to do a quick Google search!
 
This is why I think some of them just love the drama of it all. They completely ignore child abuse committed by everyday people and hyper focus on the rich and famous.

Pretty sure (haven’t checked) the stats say that if a child is abused it’s most likely to be at the hands of someone they know. It is happening right under our noses but do the ct’s give a tit? No not really because it doesn’t fit their narrative that the rich and famous are out to get us all.

Remember the hoo-har over 5g? They were setting towers on fire and abusing staff working on the towers. Don’t see much getting posted about that nowadays. They go to all these lengths and then as soon as the next big conspiracy rolls around they forget all about it.

To be honest those are the types of conspiracy theories I find entertaining 😂 don’t believe in them for a second but I think they’re funny to read about.

It’s all the QAnon, Pizzagate and even COVID nonsense that I think can do some serious harm and some CTs believe in them so wholeheartedly that to them it’s not even a conspiracy theory up for discussion, it’s just fact.

Also what will they do with the people who never have a covid test? Out of all of the people I know and speak to regularly, I’d say less than 15% have had covid tests....? I don’t know what the percentage of the whole population is but I can’t imagine it’s much more than 25% if that?!

The pizzagate has some truths to it but not the extent people claim like "ordering a burger means it's a boy" or whatever. And the list of people which included John Legend ?! I thought that was nonsense.
It's like they took the Epstien story and tried making it worse than it already is

Exactly my thoughts. I think much of it ties in to a lot of these stars becoming much more politically outspoken over the years. For example, I used to love the Oscars, celebrating movies with loads of glitz and glamour and gorgeous frocks, etc. That's what it used to be, but over the years, every big winner seems to use the platform to make a political statement and this is what winds your regular joe up. I get that. No one really wants to be lectured by some mega rich Hollywood star.

Over the last few years it has, of course, all been vehemently anti-Trump and that's where these CTs have just exploded. What is literally the worst thing you can accuse your enemy of? Child abuse of course. There's not much coming back from that. And because people have legitimately been exposed, it's easier to point the finger at absolutely everyone.

I looked the term up, to see what it meant and who these people are.

I was gobsmacked. ANTIFA means, get this, ANTI-FASCISTS. Which confused me to no end how Trumpists go on about ANTIFA, because isn't any person with a shred of decency ANTIFA????? Like, what??

And then, the topper, this "organisation" doesn't even exist. If you're anti-fascist, congrats on being a decent human being I guess, otherwise I don't get where Trumpists want to go and what they want to get at with this and their constant "It akshally was them ANTIFA!!!" 🤦‍♀️


And yes, someone's murderer is most likely to be someone the victim knows and also likely male.
A child abuser is most likely to come from the child's environment.

I think it's "getting at" the "rich and famous" and pretending like this bad stuff happens on another planet rather than within a neighbourhood/family?? It's the only logical explanation to me, you know how we all tend to delude ourselves how stuff isn't going to happen to us, that type of psychological disconnect, only waaaay heightened.

I agree, it's one thing wanting to believe that Elvis is alive or you saw him at Walmart in Vegas or that P Di was killed by the Winds, entertaining the idea and disucssing it for fun, but these recent theories have reached new levels, which are beyond worrying and creating chasms in society and in families and amongst friends. It's became super nasty.

I agree, and interviews and gong ceremonies have frankly become unwatchable, even for someone who agrees. There's no escape from this shyte anymore, when I watch a comedy show I want to get away from it all and not have the news regurgirated for the umpteenth time that day.

Btw, there's a study showing that people take more note of the news and discuss issues more when late night hosts present them in their fun way, so I guess there's an upside??!?!?!

I have a friend who was straying in to the conspiracy theorist way of thinking during the summer. She was posting a lot of "the MSM are lying to us" stuff, and posting about how the government are taking away our rights and making our children live in fear, and that the best way to be healthy was to draw power from crystals, eat healthy, drink tea, yoga and manifest etc etc. She told her kids they weren't to wear masks because it wasn't necessary and because it has a negative affect on breathing etc, and when we visited them in the summer one of them said to me she couldn't go visit her friend to go for a Maccies, shopping etc because she couldn't get on the train as she couldn't wear a mask. She cited "anxiety" as why she can't wear a mask and I know she does struggle with that (she's only 11) but her mum has genuinely just told her "we don't need to wear masks" so they just don't wear them. In my opinion, her mum was doing more to fuel her fear and take away her rights than the government! It really did make me feel a bit sad as there's no reason why she can't get on the train, as if she's exempt from wearing a mask then it's fine, but it was just as if she'd been told that the reason she couldn't see her friends was because the government have made masks mandatory and we don't wear them so it's the government's fault. If that makes sense.

It’s horrific when parents do this. If you’re into conspiracies fine, but keep the kids out of it. Let them be children ffs.

Free Britney is one of the few I can sort of believe. She clearly isn’t well and all the Instagram posts of her outside the house are a bit sus; I don’t believe the woman in them is Britney. They’re usually taken from a distance and always have her face obscured by a mask and sunglasses (I’ll get my tin foil hat now!). Like you, I don’t believe she’s trying to send us secret messages in the videos that clearly are her, but I do think she and her social media accounts are being controlled to an extent.
 
I find it quite telling recently that the people who are the focus of these theories tend to be quite liberal and political. If now reads as a right wing smear campaign as opposed to any real critical thinking. That's what concerns me and puzzles me as those spouting these say it's because they are free thinkers who can't seem to recognise the actual agenda behind these.
