I'm not a royalist by any means and I hate the argument that they should be kept being funded as they bring in tourism but I love Princess Charlotte. She's such a little cutie!

Oh and they also drink blood. Like Hilary Clinton, so the blood drinking is a real common theme.
And then celebs are so thin because of their adrenochrome addictions and that's why they need an endless supply of children to torture which is why Bill Gates wants to chip us so they will ultimately know where all the children are. Or something... 🤷‍♀️

Someone I used to work with (she seemed quite normal back then, quite intelligent, was a senior manager and is now in her fifties) is so into all this covid denial, anti vax stuff and keeps sharing stuff from anti lockdown activists, inciting people to join the "National Alliance for Freedom from Lockdowns" 😤

Look, love, none of us like these lockdowns - FFS, the Government don't like these lockdowns but they're a necessary evil to try to contain this virus.

Needless to say I've unfriended her on Facebook (after a few rows with her and her cronies). She just thinks God will save us all and herbs and a vegan diet cure cancer so there's no reasoning with these people.

I love this thread. I read a post last week on FB, to support his argument the guy wrote that the word asymptotic did not exist before COVID and stated that people have never been tested before when they are symptom free(for context we now have asympto COVID testing in the town where I live). Based on his argumment you wouldn’t even do a BP test if someone was asympto. I responded telling them about public health testing and campaigns and the page admin took my posts down for being political?! I only mentioned the standard things we get tested for when we are asympto such as smears and also HIV and syphilis for pregnant people, which I think must have triggered their snowflake senses. The conspiracy theory btw was that “they” whoever they are are trying to remove our liberties through testing and if you get tested you’re a sheep and a sap
 
One of the school mums is a conspiracy theorist. She is constantly sharing weird videos and talks about ‘control’ the usual shite, well I lost my rag last week and messaged her.

I told her about a good friend of mine who attended anti mask protests, denied till the cows come home that Covid exists, and she ended up in hospital with Covid sepsis and pneumonia, she nearly died, she has now openly retracted everything she said and urges everyone to take it seriously.

Well now she’s off Facebook (which is great as the less time this people spend on SM the better) and I see her on the school pick up (she’s a key worker!) looking MENTAL obviously not wearing a mask when they say you have to wear them when coming to classrooms 🙄

Luckily nobody in my inner circle is into these conspiracies because it drives me batty enough online. I feel blessed to live with a very sensible mother and grandmother.

I have an aunt who is very, very doommongering but luckily don't see her much. Otherwise that would exhaust and depress me in its own way.

I imagine all this behaviour comes from a place of fear, ultimately, and I'd sympathise more if these people weren't so damaging to society as a whole..

I remember a huge thread about this on Mumsnet, there were a lot of "no smoke without fire" comments even when people provided evidence that some of the missing children had returned home!

Can you imagine buying a piece of furniture online and a random child shows up on your doorstep going "Tom Hanks sent me from Wayfair"? 🤦🏼‍♀️

I think this was another one that was to be thrown wide open "within weeks" and everything would be uncovered for the public to see ... still waiting 😂
 
I only have one anti-mask/lockdown friend on my FB. Sadly, he is someone who I would have called a mate as he is a decent person who would always do you a favour. He's started calling himself a Freedom Thinker and regularly quotes Bon Jovi - "It's My Life" 🙄

He'll regularly whinge about the lockdowns and wanting things to get back to normal but will do absolutely nothing to try and help this process. No mask. No distancing. No vaccine. Recently attended an illegal House party.

What really annoys me is that he has an elderly mum who he thinks the world of, but yet willfully puts her at risk in favour of trying to cultivate this 'edgy rebel' persona, when in reality he just comes across like a middle-aged dick head.
 
Before lockdown I had a meal out (remember when we could do that?!) with a really close friend who then proceeded to tell me her husband had researched it and the vaccine was made up of foetuses, Bill Gates was trying to control us all and that Tom Hanks and Hillary Clinton were in charge of a worldwide pweirdo 'gang'. I was aghast.

Especially when I remembered that about 18 months ago I was really concerned for the welfare of the children in a family that lives locally. After seeing the Mum many times, I really felt the children were subject to neglect. I came to this opinion after seeing her interact with her children many times. I suppose I paused as she is educated and in a very good job. Nevertheless, I thought about Daniel Pelka and all those other poor kids who had been let down and I reported her. I remember telling this friend and she told me to keep out of it and that the kids were bound to be fine. So it's OK to feel aggrieved and want to 'fight for' the poor kids who are in this apparent Hanks/Clinton abuse system and not ones that live around the corner?

People are very strange.
 
Has anyone seen this girl on Instagram called officialelliegrey ? She’s extremely anti vax, anti covid, anti everything. Big on this ridiculous notion of virus vaccine shedding. Absolutely boils my piss.
