It’s really odd. Some was asked and others not. I think they wanted a nice version for the 10 year thing. Mitch will never take responsibility for what happened and Janis was always the yes person for amy. 10 years have gone so fast though.
 
Has anybody else got any amy dedicated tattoos? I have the bird and ‘never clip my wings’ like her on the inside of my arm where your arm bends. That was tough to heal 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ If I’m honest though I’d have all the tatts she has but that would be weird as they are personal to her but they are so completely my style I absolutely love them

What always gets me about people like BFC he was a druggie when he met her and was often fucked him in photos of them together and yet he has managed to outlive her and stay cleanish.

She would have been fine if he had of left her alone.

Always reminds me of when in trainspotting they get tommy on drugs and they all sort themselves out and he gets ill and dies.

It’s strange isn’t it? I find it a bit tacky to be honest! And maybe this is me reading too much into it but it’s sad too, as it’s like she couldn’t even have a final resting place without people attaching themselves to her forever. A bit like in her life really 😔

Oh I love that, never clip my wings! 🕊 I don’t have any tattoos but I considered getting a pin-up, beehived Amy in the same sort of style as her Cynthia one! I also kind of wanted the one she had over her heart, the pocket with ‘Blake’s’ only with my fiancé’s name 😅

Aw that’s a really interesting take on the friends names - it rings true though. Sad

I would love both the same tattoos as you’ve said. Always toyed with the idea of the pocket one, I’d love to have the name Written too just like her tbh but knowing him as a person it would never be right

No offense to her, but he would take anyone who would put up with his tit, now. He has few teeth and is a scruffy so and so. There was a lovely pic of him walking along drinking a Stella in a can the other day. He will always be a class act.

This is going way back in the thread I know but I just read the whole thing today.

I may be completely misremembering this but I believe I once read that Amy and Mark argued towards the end of her life because he was supposed to produce her third album but basically told her she was in no fit state to be recording.

He seems like one of the few of her friends/colleagues who was an actual friend and not just a hanger on/enabler.

He dedicated his last but one album to her, as well.
