Another amazing thumbnail, and it seems yes - it
was an Aulani day and Adam
did make a halfhearted effort to go off and do something himself
Yes, he hasn't seen enough of the ugly power plant, so he takes a walk to to the beach that is just past it.
All the things he could do on his last day in Hawaii, and this is the choice...
BTW, if you ask Google Maps for walking directions from Aulani to Electric beach,
it sends you on a 12+ hour walk because the realistic, direct route involves walking on private land next to the railroad tracks, businesses and homes. While locals may do it, I suspect it's "frowned upon" when tourists do it,
especially a tourist staying at a resort that has a beach and a tourist that has a car and can drive there (Electric Beach seems to have parking from what I can see).
Asshole wanted to take a walk and decided to do it the stupidest, most annoying way possible. Does this look legal to you?
Ah, when Peter Pan pans down to show his shadow, we can see he's not alone! Yes, he's joined in this adventure by BiL.
Perhaps they can find a homeowner to harass? BiL couldn't find something better to do in Hawaii or Aulani than this?
Is Hawaii that boring?
Look at this outfit up close, whooo weeee! He does not have his Aulani refillable cup "
because I didn't want to carry it around all day" - can you imagine,
he's inconvenienced by carrying around an empty cup?
He gives the little speech that it's hard to remember it's Christmas because it doesn't feel like Christmas there due to the weather.
Like it would be snowing or he'd be wearing a coat in Orlando or something.
We now can tell his sister is also along on this trek, because we hear her voice as she points something out.
This gets sadder every minute. Here's the real reason he wanted to go on this walk.
On the train ride with his parents, there was a trashed office copier on the side of the tracks and Adam immediately began referencing Office Space. And here it is,
he probably wanted to show it to sister and BiL
It's been 6 days without making fun of a sign, so that must've been hard on Adam who can't fathom golfing in a park by the ocean
Certainly this is what everyone looking for Hawaii content is wants, no?
Of course the hole reminds him of a cave and a cave at the beach
reminds him of The Lost Boys . Adam also wants to poke around here because this is where he suspected people were living in caves, I'm sure that's coming up.
"
This road is concealed by this concrete beam" - maybe the dumbest sentence he's ever put together
The "beam" (NOT a beam) is not preventing the road from being seen...MY GOD
And here it is - "I wonder why all these dogs are here?" he says
"
Yeah there were some people living by the beach like in the little cliffs there and that was all their dogs, they came out and waved at us. So the other day when I was on the little canoe, the sailing canoe, I could see that they were like some people living in the, the cliffs over there, that, that was what that was back there." Thrilling,
how about leave the people and their dogs alone, jackass.
Adam explaining how he and his family disturbed homeless people and their dogs while walking illegally on private land
He is really having issues stringing together anything resembling a coherent thought in this vlog:
"Made it back over now to Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa, Ko Olina, Hawaii right here, nice little walk down to little shoreline, in the beaches, got to hit up some of the coves and beaches here, at Aulani as well, spendin' the day, last day in Hawaii next to the resort, in the resort."
Time to roam the property and then hit the gift shop to...look at merch. Have to get warmed up again to visit theme parks, you know. The next big activity is the
very exciting fish feeding! And Adam signs up for not just one, but
TWO fish feedings. Yes, Rainbow Reef and the Koi Pond, amazing.
He says he's been keeping an eye on them "the last few days" (how did he do that, the day before they were in Honolulu the entire day?) and that they "sell out" -
do they charge guests to feed the fish?
If so, talk about a money grab (Edit to add:
they DO charge to feed the fish - the fish they'd have to feed ANYWAY - $7-8 dollars according to Adam, wow).
Adam could've gone snorkeling, but his camera can't capture that and he's too afraid, so instead he took an illegal walk and fed fish? FFS...
He's keeping the fish feeding wristbands on his other wrist, so as not to sully his pool wristbands...
Adam is filling his refillable mug with "lemonade" to power himself down to the secret beach where he finds seals that are hard to tell from rocks thanks to his awful zoom. He says they are taking a "cat seal nap", oh he's so down home-y, that Adam.
Adam says "we" were talking to the workers, so he may have family in tow again, hiding in the shadows.
Adam sees that this woman's shirt says "Marine Response Team" and boy does he latch on to that phrase and repeat it A LOT.
Back at Aulani, Adam actually films himself, tossing a small amount of fish food into the water. I know I've used the word compelling before, but wow, this is just the most amazing nontent I've ever seen. "
So I got a little bit in my hand, let me just toss it right down there"
Now we get a halfway decent shot of Adam's sleeve of pool wristbands
Of course everyone else at the fish feeding is a parent or parents with a child, and the child is the one feeding the fish.
Except for Adam, who is both legally an adult and mentally a child, a two-for-one. He actually tries to throw individual pieces of food to a specific fish - and I wish I was joking.
The first feeding was so spectacular, let's hit the Koi pond. But Christmas Goofy is there, so Adam awkwardly meets him first. While he waits for his fish feeding time, Adam shows off the picture of him with Goofy
Of course Adam has to hold the camera with one hand and with the other, hold the tiny cup of fish food and get it in his hand and toss it, without dropping what remains in the cup.
But the juggling act is SO WORTH IT for these precious moments he'll never, ever forget for him, and a bunch of little girls and their moms.
The CM points out the hidden Mickey fish to the children, including Adam, who zooms in on it and says "hidden Mickey fish, hidden Mickey fish, right there!" Then Adam meets Mickey, wow, amazing. Look how enthused and happy he looks
"
Turning into to be quite the fantastic freaking day, I can't believe Mickey and I just had a little moment over there."
"You know in future years when I come back out here, probably don't know when the next time I'll be out here will be, but yeah I'm kind of knocking everything off and getting more familiar with Oahu, you know, and this has been a family trip so obviously couldn't venture off or do anything, the island hopping this time, but in future years I'll be here to do a lot more on the other Hawaiian Islands."
So confusing...he will forego Hawaii next year to concentrate on international? What will he do with all these DVC points? And when he comes back eventually, he wants to island hop - how can he do that and take advantage of his DVC points? This becomes a radically more expensive vacation when he has to pay for lodging...
Time for the last Shave Ice of the trip for Adam. He tries to sell the audience on the idea he had one the first day and this one the last day and nothing in between
Lastly, pool and hot tub time on his "
last final day" (another queue line-ish phrase) as the sun sets. "
This pool entrance is just like you are walking into a beach" (???), and more shots of him looking around, bewildered and confused
He's searching for animals in the fake rockwork, his favorite pastime. Mama Woo is with him. Moving on to the hot tub, his favorite place in the world (except the cold of Alaska, remember that?) where he shows "the glimmeringness" of the sun (???). He's enjoying yet another lemonade - I wonder how many lemonades he's had this week? Speaking of Alaska:
"You know, it's funny I was in, when I was in Alaska last month, I was freezing cold, parts to me at certain times of those days thought, you know soon enough you're going to be in Hawaii sitting in that double-decker hot tub, looking at the sunset soaking in the warmth of the hot tub. Here I am right now."
Sounds like a guy that just loved Alaska, loved the cold, really loved it and really enjoyed being in the cold. If he'd just admit he hated most of it, I could respect the honesty. The fact that he lied and continues to lie about his time in Alaska, but then also says things like this to show he's lying, is one of the things that makes him so annoying.
This is excruciating..."10 minutes...3 minutes...it's a quarter of the way under...it's almost gone...it's gone." Adam then orders "some pizza pies" to take back to the room and enjoy there.
Apparently the whole Woo clans likes eating in their hotel room, not just Adam. You can still tell in this entire vlog around the resort that Adam is going to extreme lengths not to show other people,
it's very, very obvious he's changed due to the extreme backlash he received from his hypocritical response to being filmed in the parks with the OF friend. Of course, it's a lot easier to do here than at a crowded Disney park.
The vlog is over.
