OK, tell me what you think here (we'll know the real answer when international starts and we see how he chooses to use his time home, and exactly how much he cuts back on international after he gets a taste of it, because he
will cut back from his stated plan of 14-21 days away each month).
A) Is Adam just trolling his detractors by going back to the Lakeland Antique Mall for the 6th time in the last 13 months?
or
B) Is he just desperately trying to cram in his "comfort" activities, as he's done all of 2024, because he knows he won't have time due to international in 2025?
Adam is at the 7-11, with the fake lake, so you might think it's a park day like I assume, but no, still too lazy for even that level of effort (plus I realized that it's pretty crowded, and Adam dislikes the crowds - he will go at some point, but only to play up the "JAM PACKED BUSY" in the title). Adam has decided he wants to buy one or two "blow mold" Christmas decorations, so he's off to the Lakeland Antique Mall to do that. He can't deal with having no decorations, and wants to celebrate the one year anniversary of handing in his apartment keys. And yes, he shows the Mickey Power Pole while pulled over illegally.
Of course, I knew as soon as I saw him post THAT specific scene in Edward Scissorhands on his IG that he might have gone to Lakeland because that scene was filmed in Lakeland and he's covered that spot many, many times. Adam explains that he believes Edward Scissorhands IS a Christmas movie (it's not, and don't come at me. Neither is Die Hard, and now that I've said it, I'm sure that's what he's watching tonight). He's decided he'll watch that in the evening and pass by the filming location since he's in Lakeland.
He feels the need to stop, during a 40 min drive, at a rest stop. Seemingly, the only reason is to point out his asinine observation that picnic tables at rest areas are "not utilized".
You can't get content and observational comedy like this just anywhere, folks. And picnic tables remind him of the original Vacation movie, naturally.
Not of any personal experience, of course. Picnic tables remind me of my in-laws, who have aways had one in their backyard. Adam has nothing like that to draw on, just an empty life that relates to 80s movies.
At the rest area he finds a pay phone in good condition, and actually picks it up and puts it to his ear and mouth
Adam continues to tour this rest area. How the rest area isn't mentioned in the title, I'm not sure, because he's spending a nice chunk of time here.
Adam stops at a Lowe's to see what they have, considers getting a Christmas tree, and decides against it for this year, saying he will wait until next year.
Based on his stated plans, he will be spending 14-21 days of December 2025 abroad, so not sure why he thinks next year will be any better for a tree than this year - unless he plans on not following through, eh?
As always, Adam's arrested development shines through and he can't resist the joke that "
that tree is very kinky, price-wise". I'll say it again, and I'll say it every time he makes this joke:
does a guy who "dates" Only Fans girls really think 69 is "very kinky"? Really??? (he buys nothing, btw)
At the Antique Mall, which he's gone to for "one or two Christmas decorations", the first thing he decides to get is this for the dumpster (it's a 2024 HHN popcorn bucket) at a price of $30:
I wish I was joking, but he looks at this and says "
oh look, there's the guy in the bathtub right there in the cemetery scene". In the bathtub.
Adam decides that this gingerbread man in a "cup of coffee, or maybe a cup of hot cocoa" (coffee???) is for him, that it "kinda screams me", and that the
$100 price tag is just fine by him.
Now is a good time to mention that views for the last 30 days continue to drop, now below 2.1 million:
Yes, the Lakeland Antique Mall is moving to a different location but still in Lakeland. The owners of the back corner area that has all Disney stuff told Adam they are not moving to the new location, they are opening their own brick and mortar location.
How exciting, now there will be two places for Adam to shop in Lakeland
Off to the Southgate shopping center, where, after previously saying that Edward Scissorhands is a Christmas movie, Adam now says "
Edward Scissorhands, not necessarily a Christmas film." He gives the usual speech about how he's covered this before, but "because I'm in the area, I figured I'd stop by" blah blah blah.
He just starts wandering around to some other small stores.
Perhaps scouting out less conspicuous date locations for his OF "friends"? He passes this and says "
you can have an antique date night here"
On the way home, he complains about the traffic - can't have a vlog outside of the Celebration bubble without that! Perhaps try starting your day before 12:30pm, Adam? At home, he puts his gingerbread man blow mold out on the front step
AND DOES NOT PLUG IT IN.
Yes, too lazy to plug it in. "Not sure if it lights up, plugs in or not but during the daytime he'll look all holly and jolly and ginger bread-y." $100 for this.
Inside the garage, he places the Minion popcorn bucket,
and that means he needs to go all the way down the line with all the other popcorn buckets, showing and telling what each one is. Not tiresome or boring at all, no.
Also,
in tribute to his upcoming international travel, Adam has purchase what he has been told is a "vintage" globe of the earth (don't show your dad, he probably thinks it's flat). Adam says the tag says it's from 1956, and they suckered him for $40 (he said he was expecting to look at the tag and see $100-150
)
The vlog is over.
