Nahh she’s waiting till her minions begin to catch on and ask why she hasn’t been to any of Joe’s shows yet. Only then will she go at the very end of his run, just like how she prioritizes the things that are important in her life. Autumnal pics for IG > Joe

It’s all to save face not because she genuinely supports Joe and his endeavors. Anything where he’s getting more lime light and further emphasizes that she’s Joe Sugg’s sister only makes her more bitter. Like others have mentioned she certainly has the means and time to go visit him. She’s just selfish.

Yeah you can tell from how uninterested she sounded when he phoned her to tell her he’d got the part - he only videod 4 reactions so he obviously was excited to tell her, I felt sad for him

The thing is whenever she does rock up you know she’ll be straight on it with the supportive big sis insta post saying how she’s so so proud of him whilst gritting her teeth and stopping her feet that no one gives a duck about zoella anymore. And all the minions will be up her arse about how she’s the best big sister ever and is so supportive of her family when she can’t even get off her arse to go visit her family at christmas of all times🙄

Exactly. Considering how much she loves musicals or questionable musical films at least (The Greatest Showman) you would think this is right up her alley.

It’s possible it’s a bit of both jealousy and apathy. Zoe was the same way when Tanya did Confidence. She went towards the end of Tanya’s run, didn’t talk much about the play, and even gave Tanya a backhanded compliment. Yes, Tanya’s acting was terrible but considering she’s one of her ‘good friends’, the effort on Zoe’s end was just nonexistent.

Zoe doesn’t know how to be happy for other people unless she’s also succeeding. I think it’s something her and Alfie have picked up on and let it manifest while living in their bubble in Brighton. It’s why their endeavors and words always lack any genuineness and ring hollow. There’s just no depth simply because there isn’t any. They live their lives in the moment (if you can call it living) and only partake in what gives them a brief moment of happiness through materialistic things. They are too scared to explore and take advantage of all the opportunities they have at their fingertips. Also, they are confused but afraid to admit that while they are influencers, they don’t have the same fearlessness of wanting to deliver on quality content time after time to their fans like the newer influencers. Why hustle when they already make bank being mediocre?

As others have mentioned, Zoe rarely visits her family during Christmas much less acknowledges how fortunate she is to have both sets of grandparents who are alive today. Her response to Joe is not surprising at all. She knows she has fallen down the ladder in terms of relevance and popularity but also refuses to climb back up because it’s too much work. She talks about bullying in her IG stories and yet is the very epitome of one.

No. She wouldn't want to go and meet new people. She has to do it all through the internet. She would put "I love this account" on her story but never meet up with the person. Also, just realised, she wouldn't do any of that because they wouldn't be rich or have a massive following online as they are normal people.
 
Influencers like Zoella are the reason I like to follow smaller-following influencers. They're genuine and make an effort and work for their campaigns. Plus what they peddle is usually of more interest to me. (we all know Vue cinemas exist so why does ZoZo get paid to promote it?!) Whereas a local influencer near me with like 20k followers has basically informed me about 6 new small businesses and events going on that I wouldn't have heard of otherwise. Sorry for the rant I just find it infuriating how lazy Zoe and Alfie are yet stuff keeps getting handed to them. Why not donate the money you would have spent on the pumpkins; the money you would have spent on cinema tix and snacks maybe that could have gone to a charity to take underprivileged kids on a day out? There was like 10 people there right? So that could have been at least £200. They take it all for granted and it makes me so mad.

Flip that on its head and imagine if Vue used that £200 to give 10 underprivileged children a day out at the cinema 💕
 
These buggers are millionaires, £200 is nothing to them and those free tickets could be given to so many more deserving people. I think that is what annoys me the most about the freebies that they get, most are of such small value (like their eyebrow appointments etc) that it just comes across as so pathetic that they are so tight, or feel so entitled to get everything for free, that they don’t even spend a bloody tenner. It’s no wonder they are so wealthy, they have no shame about accepting everything for free!

Zoe could encourage this

One of my friends is quite big in media (white middle class guy) but when hes asked to do things for the media he will sometimes ask for a poc to take the space instead and when given freebies he gives them to schools or strikes up a better deal (eg FA cup tried giving him and his team free tickets. He ditched his team and took 10 kids from his estate who would never get that opportunity)
