She probably buys carbon credits or something equally mealy mouthed and useless. For me this level would be completely unjustifiable but there’s no accounting for the lies people manage to tell themselves to justify their actions.

I doubt she does that, or in full. They are also a scam

She just doesn’t care. Like every other value (veganism, feminism etc) an influencer claims it is only advertising

I assumed all her flights were economy in the calculation, but just to give a flavour of how much carbon flying business vs economy adds, that single one way flight alone nearly quadruples the carbon emitted, adding another 4 tons of CO2 to her total. I’m sure it’s not the only business class flight she’s taken this year as well.

She probably got upgraded because of the sheer number of flights she takes a year, she must have top tier status with all the airlines by now

When was the last time she banged the sustainability drum? Pre-Covid I'm sure maybe even a year before that. Sustainability doesn't pay $$$s as an influencer not long term so she ditched it. She's always been an over privileged spoilt brat moving into whatever she can make easy money from. While the amount of holidays she has is bonkers the flights would fly with or without her, and she'll get an upgrade because of her status. She's still an insufferable twit.
