Your tips on how to look more Groomed, Glamorous or Polished #13

I'm pretty sure I got the five treatments, it was their cheapest option of those specific strips. I found I had a noticeable difference after the first strip and since doing all five the staining hasn't returned back to where it was. I'll never be able to get my teeth completely white, due to complications from when I had braces, but I was chuffed with the results.

These were the ones I got after someone else recommended them on another thread: https://thewhitesmiles.com/shop/crest-whitening-strips-professional/
Thanks for recommending these! I've only used them twice and they already made a big difference! They're not fake-white, but I don't look in the mirror and think "My teeth are yellow" anymore, so that's perfect.

Mine arrived today! Did you do them for 5 nights on the run? I’m not sure from the instructions how often to use them.

M&S have some really nice skirts and dresses in atm. It seems to still have a reputation of only being for older people but I don’t agree, I’ve been buying dresses/skirts/most of my clothes there for years and much better quality than Zara/mango.
No I do tend to agree I think both M&S have got better AND I’m finally in the bracket to enjoy them. Thank you!

Amazon, Only, Vero Moda, Dunnes Stores, Doherty Perkins & Boohoo.

Oooh dresses for the office!

Depending if you are a plain/chic/modern dresser - Karen Millen, Zara, Mango, Reiss, Warehouse

Or if you are a bit more on the feminine/patterns/boho side - Joy, Nobody’s Child, Other Stories, Ro and Zo, Whistles

I don’t know about the more sustainable options/ eco brands. If budget matters, I tend to be able to go up a tier on Vinted and still get brand new stuff. Just a punt with returns / selection.

Oooh I don’t know why I hadn’t really thought of warehouse, but these are all great shouts thank you!

Does anyone have any recommendations for decent skin coloured tights that aren't yellow? Every single pair Ive got from like Tesco etc. looks yellow when I put them on
So I haven’t actually tried these yet but I’ve ordered some ‘builders tea’ tights from Snag that looked promising in the pictures! I am super pale and my legs always look shite so I’m hoping it just makes them an even and pale colour!

when I was a bit thinner and could reliably fit in them, I definitely got tights from M&S that were suitable for me colour wise!

There's a site called "Dress My Legs" which has a great range of tights in all sorts of skin tone colors so you'll def find a good match. I've bought a few and the quality is very good! Prices are very good too.

Hi! I have a styling question and could really use some input.

I’m on the hunt for some new winter boots that are both stylish and practical for walking on my commute (approx 15min). Ideally pointed toe but low heel so they’re dressy enough for work and evenings, but still walkable in the rain.

I’ve been thinking about knee-high boots since I mostly wear wide trousers, and I could then wear them with slim jeans and dresses too. However, I’m struggling to find what I want.

I’m torn between knee-length and calf-length options. I see more calf length boots with a low heel that could work, but I’m not sure they’d go as well with dresses and skirts for eg Christmas nights out (which admittedly i wear a lot less).

I really want to feel put together this winter. I’m also considering whether it makes sense to buy two pairs, even though I’m trying to be mindful about my purchases.
Any advice or recommendations would be super appreciated. Thanks!

I really rate my asos sock boots. They are a suede type material, calf length, block chunky heel (easy to walk in). They just seem to go with everything, love them with tights and dresses, but would be perfect under trousers too. Plenty of options depending on budget, from cheaper brands like PLT Boohoo etc, but you could buy genuine leather sock boots if it’s what you’re after x

Has anyone tried Ren’s bio retinoid youth serum? I got it in a calendar last year and just opened it tonight and it feels gritty. I’m not sure if that’s normal as reviews don’t mention the texture of it 😂🤨

Second asos for boots, they also have lots of wide calf and wide feet boots which is great. New look have some lovely knee boots in and Primark have some really lovely brown ones atm.
