You - Netflix

Personally I'm sick to the back teeth of needless and gratuitous sex scenes all over every TV show and film these days. You can't sit down and watch anything as a group anymore because there's always some awkward endless sex or rape scene around the corner.

I wasn't expecting the full frontal pierced cock but it was okay I guess and a change from only the actresses being made to take their clothes off.

It's also a bit weird because they've been married since before the show even started? Wonder why it's changed lol
There may have been a history f cheating with someone on the set? Or a flirt/crush his wife knew about. The actress who plays Love said she’s not returning so I can’t work out why she was in the second trailer!
Ditto I have one left from the first part but can barely even remember what has happened as it has just been background. About the wife thing, does this maybe imply he has cheated Nd now she is being really jealous? This is how I'd react tbh. But either way putting this kind of limit is probably not great as an actor
My mind did jump to some sort of affair maybe on set purely from the phrasing of his explanation. He could have said he respects his wife and marriage without mentioning fidelity. I'm so focused on that word 🙈 I did think him and Domino have been married for a while now as well.
Ach well. It sounds like it's not affecting some people's viewing which is good. It just didn't feel like "You" to me but it was more about the sex scenes. He wasn't as sneaky and stalkery haha! I'll watch the other eps but I won't be eagerly anticipating them like I was this.

That's the thing for me though it wasn't needless (for Joe in most cases) as that's what fuelled him and his stalkery ways for the most part.
Maybe it could have just been that he has moved on and grown from his baseless lusts in this but Penn coming out with that just made me think is all, and I did see a difference in this series. He should have just kept schtum and people would have thought Joe was evolving into a better person haha.

How on earth is the teacher salary supposed to pay for that flat?

Did they get a new makeup artist for the season? Might really just be me, but I don't think it's well done. Maybe they were trying to mock the London elite, but it looks overdone, overly colourful, etc.

Anyway, shots of London are nice and I was excited to recognize a few places. The uni makes me laugh :D

Just finished all episodes that are out. It's different as it's now a murder mystery thing but I found it ok overall and look forward to the second half.

I agree that the characters are horrendous though and don't like any of them. I especially don't like Kate. Wish we also got to see some 'normal' Brits too.

Also I'm a Londoner but idgaf that it's not geographically correct. I'm sure people in LA and NY go through this all the time with the amount of shows set there. It's a TV show at the end of the day. Lovely to see Royal Holloway uni being shown. It's beautiful and not that far away to be honest.

I assumed he was renting the flat at a knock down price because he's essentially flat sitting. Isn't the processor he's renting it from abroad atm?

Only seen the first episode but Kate is horrendous. Easily the worst love interest if that's where they're going.

I read You Love Me recently. I thought some aspects the show did better, some the book.

I think I might go back and start from the first episode of this season, I keep missing bits as I'm getting bored. Lovely to see Knebworth House on screen again, I'm a few minutes walk from Knebworth village.
