You’ve got Lana down to a T with this.

Like others have said, she could’ve picked her and Aaron or Ellie and Ron for the least compatible couple, but she didn’t. She chose Tom and Zara purely because Olivia is her ‘best friend’ and is going for the herd mentality. She also said it with a smirk and Olivia smirked back. Both Lana and Olivia give me such mean girl vibes, I really dislike the both of them at the minute.

picking ellie and ron could’ve been a great “power move” on her part
 
In the US version in the summer while there were couples whom got together in the beginning and stayed together there was a lot of couples that got to have chats with the other islanders out of their respective couple.
Was really interesting to see how different people outside of their coupling connected with others AND it made great viewing.
And there was none of this agro about talking/ chatting to other Islanders.
 
I feel awful for Zara

I think we only get to see the moments she’s riled up because it makes for more dramatic “tv”

She’s very clearly isolated and Olivia and Alana are leading the mean girl clique

Tom is clearly looking elsewhere and then goes and says he only sees her as body (what an idiot)

Zara is seen as “tough” / aggressive when I think this is only a result of her environment so she can take this whereas Olivia or Lana it would be the girls gathered around consoling them and licking their asses
 
The only thing I’ve noticed different with change in social media is hardly any of them have gained many followers (compared to other years) which i think they’ll all have reality check when coming out as other years some come out to 1 million followers but none of girls have even passed 100k🙈 and as they are none wiser I find it amusing if they think they’re all going to have millions waiting
