It was a blood curdling scream and I was very worried. Earlier in the day Alizee Cornet fell badly The grass is very slippery.
Hopefully Adam can get his injury sorted for tomorrow. It was a brilliant three sets of tennis and only one break.

I don't usually mind Clare Balding, but she is doing my head in at Wimbledon.
I don't mind her either, and I'm sure she's good at horseracing. But this isn't horseracing. She's terribly out of her depth and she knows it.

The BBC need to employ proper tennis people. For many of the current lot it feels like they only watch a bit of grass and brush up a week before wimby and think that'll do.

Clare is articulate and enthusiastic, which I like but you are right, it's better to have more of a tennis expert. Martina is always brilliant and makes such perceptive comments. She doesn't over talk either. I like her voice, it's soothing to listen to. I also like Annabel Croft.

Agree with everyone over Andrew Castle. The man is just irritating and I hate the way he teases John Lloyd.

Looking forward to the restart of the Murray v Tsitsipas match this afternoon. I hope Andy's hip is OK and Tsitsipas finds his massive forehand again - not so much to beat Andy but to give us tennis fans a view of such power and to have a great match.

I don't dislike Clare Balding, but she is clearly out of her depth. Annabel Croft is right there and would've been a good replacement for Sue, or even Anne Keothavong who is also already part of the team.

As for Andrew Castle... I was hoping he would get the chop after Sue retired, but somehow he manages to cling on despite being the absolute worst.

How about John Inverdale? Comes across as arrogant to me. More of a rugby commentator

john inverdale has been consistently ruining the bbc rugby coverage for years! i hate him 🤣 he also frequently makes snide comments to and about players (in both tennis and rugby).

You should watch the netflix documentary series called Breaking Point. There's an episode about Berrettini

oh i watched the berrettini episode twice! (didn’t take much in the first time 🫠)

On the note of sub-par presenters, why is Isa Guha doing this? She's a cricketer ffs and the Ashes is on, why is she not doing TMS?
I find her very bland. For something as big as Wimbledon, you'd think the BBC would employ experts. Like Sue Barker was.

Simon & Amber le Bon in the Royal Box watching Carlos Alcaraz earlier for any fellow Duranies. 🥰

I love Martina and Annabel, but I hang on every word that Tracy Austin says - she is excellent at explaining technical stuff really clearly to a non-tennis-player such as me.

this isn’t in any way related to actual tennis, but god matteo berrettini is so 🥵

He might well be - I literally cannot see beyond the socks, though 😁

Cannot abide the odious little misogynist. His comments about a Marion Bartoli were indefensible. Though Murray putting him in his place regarding the Williams sisters’ Olympic record is one of my favourite things that ever happened 😁
