Had a fab day yesterday on Centre, security and entry was quick but I guess after yesterdays protests it may de different today. We got the three planned matches then an extra as they were catching up. Had Pimms , strawberries and actually enjoyed the Djokovic game. Did some celeb spotting and had a wonderful day, didn’t leave until 10pm. Seats were epic next to the Royal Box.

Andrew castle has been struggling to say Tsitsipas 🙄

The way that guy enunciates the Z in Alcaraz is still really annoying me. He says it so smugly as if he's a genius for saying a th sound. It's like someone speaking in clear English but then always saying krwwa-sannn 🥐 in a french accent and making everyone know they consider themselves superior.

it’s driving me insane 🤣 he looks so pleased with himself every time (and weird that he doesn’t extend this ✨knowledge✨ to pronouncing anyone else’s name). he’s unbearable.

And why just for his last name? They say his first name without the cod accent.

Say it the same way as all the atp professionals do, including the Spanish ones and spend your time learning to not mess up other people's names. It should be totally irrelevant what someone's ranking is and the respect shown in saying their name. Equality!

exactly! djokovic, correctly said, is more like joe-kuh-vich (or so i’ve heard him say in interviews 🤣) but everyone just goes with how it’s spelt. why isn’t andrew castle out here trying to do a fancy serbian accent for that?!
 
I'm glad Andrew castle couldn't get one of the players bottles, and I don't doubt him that he tried hard.

Although it's ridiculous that evian are making a thing about giving people reusable bottles when their company is 98% selling single use plastic bottles to people in countries where tap water is safe. What are they filling these reusable bottles with? Tap or single use evian that's been shipped hundreds of miles?

Actually allergic, or allergic in the sense of dislike? Still hoping for him to have a better Wimbledon run one day 💪🏽
