Shame for Andy but they do insist in always putting him on last in the scheduling. Apparently he had asked yesterday to go on earlier but they said no. If last nights match had started earlier I believe he would have won it.

tbf it would have been really unfair to Tsitsipas if he’d had to play an earlier game after finishing one the night before at about 8/9pm
Can’t believe Liam Broady has managed to get the furthest of them all, gutted for Murray but I like Stefanos so if anyone was going to beat him I’d want it to be him

Gutted for Andy. But not surprising, he can obviously no longer play at the top top level like he used to, and that's fair enough, he's got a bloody metal hip.
Also gutted for Norrie but really he should be winning those kind of matches given his world ranking and experience.
Fingers crossed for Broady but it doesn't look good.
Also, hard agree with the Inverdale hate. Man's a pillock.

Poor Andy. The age gap, fitness and injuries all go against him. I wonder if this may be the time to retire.

i think it might be
we’re probably going to lose both him and rafa in the next year i think. both of them have managed to keep going so long with bad injuries but i feel like it’s probably time.

I have been lucky enough to watch Federer, Murray, Djokovic play but never Rafa , I don’t think I will ever get to now. Even Djokovic spoke about the ‘young guns’ on the up.
The bigger names are all in the upper ends of their careers.

I saw Rafa play Andy at the O2 back when the ATP finals were there. I was a massive Rafa fan, but actually supported Murray during the match as I felt I should because he was playing at home

it’s amazing he even made it that long with his foot in the state that it’s in
