I might be alone with this one, my eldest sibling, who is nearly 50, likes to text me every year with a list of what she wants me to buy her for Christmas. Completely unprovoked, I haven't asked for suggestions. Last year it was quite late, already December and the list came to £80, she suggested I might want to go halves with our brother. So along with the £40 to £80 gift, she knows I buy her family a joint gift, either cinema vouchers, theatre vouchers etc. Which she has let me know she approves of.
Anyway, last night she messaged me, along with a link a jacket, along with a follow up message instructing me to buy it and suggesting I go halves with our brother.
I mean, I get people don't want gifts they don't like, and I understand people ask for suggestions, but no way would I text anyone suggestions unless they asked. It's just rude!
I've already bought her gift, so her request is too late.
Also, she is horrid to me and our brother, but every year I still buy her an amazing gift. Oh and last year she got me a £15 gift, despite asking me for £80 worth of items with the potential of going halves with our brother.
