What’s annoying you right now #10

My sister is laws clear favouritism of one of her small children over the other yesterday really reached a new low when the favoured one was her bridesmaid as she married their Dad and the other was sat 3 rows away sat on a relatives knee not in the wedding party at all. Could have been a page boy, could have been a best man, could have been the ring bearer...anything!
That is absolutely awful! How could someone do that to their child?!

I read something the other day about a child being left out of her parents wedding party, her older brother and sister were included as bestman and maid of honour but she wasn't given a roll. The sister and brother went on the special shopping trips, for dresses etc, and the younger one who was about 14 wasn't included. As she felt rejected out she stopped asking to be involved and stopped asking questions about the wedding. Then the day before the wedding her mum asked her if she had packed, and she said "no" and asked her mum if she had bought her a dress, the mum forgot to (as she wasn't bridal party), and apparently forgot to buy her a plane ticket too. The parents had paid for the grandparents flights and I think the aunts/uncles, so they didn't notice they were a ticket down.

Been having dreams about my ex girlfriend the last week or so out of nowhere. It wakes me up and I can’t end up getting back to sleep for a good hour or so.

No idea why as we have both moved on and been in long term relationships since, her with her girlfriend and me with my boyfriend. 🤔

Being in a long queue at the supermarket and then you see the person in front load something on to the conveyer belt that you really really needed but forgot to pick up. Damn!

Applying for jobs and job applications in general, they want to know everything but my blood type and weight. I find filling them in so tedious especially when they don’t get back to you with an outcome.

Persevere with it... something will come up. As annoying as they are , and how little they show a person's personality or trait through, the end goal is worth it. Try having autofill on phone too, or on your device all the information so you can copy and paste ( I.e gcses / o levels , work history and so on )

Good luck 🍀

People telling me not to worry about things as worrying doesn't change the outcome. How about things only turn out OK because I worried about them and then took action to make it turn out OK?

The time it takes my laptop to render 360 degree 5.7k footage from this weekend's grassroots football match. Then the stonking Youtube upload time, and the Youtube 360 rendering process.

Argh!! All the while the lads who play for the footy team are on Whatsapp, giving it 'whens it gonna be up' - lads its 89Gb raw footage - takes 30 minutes to even get it into the laptop.

I know you want to see your fancy footwork in all its HD glory but I ain't Sky Sports with 4 fully decked out 40ft artics sat behind the stadium livestreaming it around the world by satellite. I'm one of your coaches with a insta360 x3 that was bought for me to take silly holiday vids still learning the software and having a full time job plus life. :m

I might be alone with this one, my eldest sibling, who is nearly 50, likes to text me every year with a list of what she wants me to buy her for Christmas. Completely unprovoked, I haven't asked for suggestions. Last year it was quite late, already December and the list came to £80, she suggested I might want to go halves with our brother. So along with the £40 to £80 gift, she knows I buy her family a joint gift, either cinema vouchers, theatre vouchers etc. Which she has let me know she approves of. 🤣 Anyway, last night she messaged me, along with a link a jacket, along with a follow up message instructing me to buy it and suggesting I go halves with our brother.

I mean, I get people don't want gifts they don't like, and I understand people ask for suggestions, but no way would I text anyone suggestions unless they asked. It's just rude!

I've already bought her gift, so her request is too late.

Also, she is horrid to me and our brother, but every year I still buy her an amazing gift. Oh and last year she got me a £15 gift, despite asking me for £80 worth of items with the potential of going halves with our brother. 😆
