This is the second time now that Kels has paid the Chicago Marathon fee (£200 x 2) and even though FTT got in thru qualifying time, he still has to pay the fee. That's a lot of money wasted that could have gone to a decent holiday. Selfish twats.

I think you still have to pay though. They had no intention of running Chicago, no one forced them to buy a puppy recently and they should have booked accommodation months ago.

Yes they have a spot if they want it but you have to pay for it again. And they are extremely strict with deadlines and you only get one deferral.

Oh, they knew the costs all right but were banking on a sponsor stumping up for them on their behalf. Thankfully, there is a god and this never happened.

They were given a free hotel stay for Berlin last year by Westin, they were probably hoping they would give them a room again. Beans and Kirsty were staying at the same hotel but Kirsty must have paid for her room as she wasn't spamming it like Dr FTT.
