Omg I wouldn’t in a million years let that man near me with a needle! Their hygiene is disgusting!
I’m assuming they reuse the same needle for the whole lactate testing sesh. Cheapskates all round. The whole thing just screams nooooooooo!
Edit to add: is this lactate threshold measurement malarkey his new business idea? You couldn’t pay me to run round and round with tits telling me to get in and poking me every round 🤣

I was wondering if he charged her 😂. He was really upset when Kelly messed up a £2 strip so wouldn't be surprised if he did.
This isn't the most accurate way to do it, if you want your lactate thresholds tested go to a specialist!

So he’s started with a 70 mile week and an 18 mile LR?

Only to realise 3-4 weeks in that that’s not sustainable and bonk and then say that he didn’t do the essential training.
Or even worse, NOT realise that that’s not sustainable and blame it on his willpower when he can’t finish his runs/ feel knackered all the time/get injured.
Rinse repeat.

Last time he started with 80 mile weeks which lasted about 3 weeks before he was fucked. At least this time it’s not such a stupid increase from 30 miles a week to 80 with no build up.
He'll probably still get injured though, he didn't really take much time off to deal with his previous injuries. Give it a month and he'll be complaining about his tight calves/quads again.
