I would be extremely surprised if Valencia marathon goes ahead. The devastation over there is horrendous. Do you remember when New York flooded just days before the marathon, maybe about 10 or 11 years ago? The marathon was cancelled but loads of runners went anyway and got involved in the massive clean up operation. What’s the chances of those two selfish pricks doing the same? Big fat zero, I’d say!

The area where the marathon takes place is untouched so I guess it depends if the infrastructure is back up and running and able to cope. Do we think Tits would offer to stay at home with the kids while Kels went on her own? Of course not.

She could take Jemma and Runnerof4 with her. Might have more chance of another decent run without Dr FTT screaming at her to WANT IT as he instructs her to shoot off at 7:30 m/m pace

Kelly making out that missing a long run because she ate a roast dinner is the end of the world but she #madememories so it’s ok.

That’s what the rest of us do hun. You aren’t an elite, even though you seem to be convincing yourself that you are. It really won’t matter if you don’t run one day because you ate a roast or you missed 4 days because you are ill.

Her head is so big at the moment I’m wondering how she doesn’t wobble over when she walks.

The bit that got me was 'We will try again tomorrow'. A) Monday is a working day for most people and as it's dark by 5pm now the majority us would not be able to do a long run on a Monday. Please own that privilege; and B) Our club coaches are always telling us if you miss a long run/session don't try and add it to the following week, you'll just mess up the structure/balance of runs for that week too. If it's missed, it's missed. That's life! Carry on with the new week. As a 'coach' (living with her 'coach') they should both know better.

Whoever this hero is on Letsrun responding about whether or not Valencia will go ahead, bravo! :ROFLMAO:
