Wagatha Christie #4 Rebekah Vardy vs Coleen Rooney

I bet he’s pissed as hell that this has become his problem. I am sure he didn’t want her to mess about with the court knowing she wasn’t innocent. Assuming she was honest with him I guess. Anyway. I wouldn’t like to be in their household now. I assume there is an atmosphere now.
If he thought she was innocent, he surely would have been more supportive during the court case, like Wayne was.

He must resent the hell out of her,I know I would. I'm honestly surprised they're still together.Even for a footballer, that is a big chunk of money and it's not like she can afford to pay it.

He's got 8 months left on his contract, the club had huge loses and cut wages 35-50%. Jamie's was said to be cut in half
I didn't know they had cut his contract but it says his wages are still 7 mil.
Jamie Vardy (Centre-Forward) has 1 year and £7,280,000 estimated gross salary remaining on his contract with Leicester (Premier League), expiring on Jun 30, 2025. Jamie Vardy, who is 37 years old, will earn an estimated gross base salary of £7,280,000 for the 2024-2025 Season, or £140,000 per week, not including bonuses.

Plus any sponsorship deals.

Side note- these figures are repulsive.

Those net worth sites are a lot of guess work. It's very likley to have halved from what he was on and some say he was on 7 million and other sites say he was on 4 million

He takes home less than half of that and they probably have huge outgoings. Make no mistake this will be a huge dent in his earnings in his twilight years. Won't go bankrupt but a huge effect.
Coleens fees are £1,833,906.89 and she has her own bills to pay on top of that. No small bill for the vardys.

You assume he's been spending not much and got it all in savings.
That bill isn't small even for him.

Plus Becky must cost him a fortune in mobile phones and laptops the rate she goes through them. She has awful luck with technology ☹️

I still think she should face criminal action as the judge said he believed she tampered with evidence and lied about it.

She only lost the court case because they accidentally gave them too much evidence and they were planing to withhold it.

IANAL but I guess maybe it's not a crime since it was a civil case? She brought it, though!

I seem to recall the judge said something along the lines of being able to draw whatever conclusions were suitable from the convenience of phones suddenly falling into the sea and whatnot.

It is still a crime (contempt of court) to be dishonest in civil proceedings and to make statements in either witness statements or oral submissions in hearings without an honest belief in these statements, but judges rarely take actions.

Just look at the Post Office Scandal: when convictions were overturned in the High Court in 2021, the Judge found (in his judgement!) that an in-house lawyer (Angela van den Bogerd) had given a false testimony in a lawsuit in 2018 and - nothing happened.
As she told the public inquiry she got her executive bonus in 2018.
It will be interested to see if there will be any criminal convictions after the public inquiry.

BV is so thick…Barrister said : the mobile is lying at the bottom of the sea in Davy Jones’ locker….

BV : Who is Davy Jones? :D

Imagine referring to one quarter of the greatest band ever in such a dismissive manner, she's got no taste!

Exactly. I think it's really bad that she's got away with lying to a court and destroying evidence. Should have got a suspended sentence for that or something.

I saw a documentary on the BBC and a judge sent someone down
