I remember her posting a story shortly after Oct 7th last year making a sad face, w her cat in the foreground, saying something like how awful the world was right now and how “we don’t deserve our animal companions” or something inane like that. That was her hot take “as a Jewish woman”

I disagree that hating Jewish people is understood as acceptable among the left. There are a lot of people on the liberal left standing together with leftist Jews who themselves are actively speaking out against Israel, getting organised, putting on demonstrations, etc (see Jewish Voice for Peace). Anyway my point is that it’s a highly difficult issue especially for Jewish people who are “insiders” so of course you’d genuinely have to be Jewish to have the background and understanding to be able to choose openly supporting Palestine as your position, and then debate it with other Jews.
She would have been way out of her depth, so obviously dropped it.

I think you would go with “never happened my sister is a big fibber” or you could own it “tit job, I was taking the piss, can’t believe they thought I was serious”. I think Paper Mask Dr Vonny cutting about the Infirmary in scrubs is actually more sinister.

yeah if she is going to be embarrassed she can start with how she cosplayed being Jewish, or extracted stories from sexual harrassment victims for twitter likes, etc etc. the meat grinder thing is funny, the other stuff is really damaging
