Vicki breaking the rules (for food!) again. Somehow I don't think Sutton (where she collected her 'Valentine's Feast' from) is within 5km of Stoneybatter? And then she mentions on Twitter that Joe ordered a pizza after their dinner?!? Jaysus I'm not able for this pair - the ultimate 'notions' couple :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

I don't know her from Adam, but I can tell exactly what sort of person she is just from her online persona. The sort of person who, a week before it's her birthday, will start telling EVERYONE that it's her birthday soon and then never bleeping shut up about it on the day. I could never be friends with her. Jesus Christ.

The thing is, you can tell that she's actually probably really insecure because she hardly ever goes selfie-mode on Insta videos (and if she ever does, it's usually with a stupid bleeping dog filter or else with the make-up TROWELLED on) and she basically uses Insta to brag about all of the STUFF she has (here's my house, here's my sitting room, here's my drinks trolley, here's my flashy job, here's all the free stuff I got sent, here's the latest gadget Joe bought, here's Joe, tee hee hee.) And he's as bad, TBH, with his stupid hair and his tacky car. Pair of doses.

I remember just before Christmas there she posted about 'treating' herself to a new watch in Field's (this was after posting a pic of all the Brown Thomas bags in her room in the WESTBURY, dontchaknow). Because I'm a nosy witch, I had to look on the Fields website and see how much it was and it basically cost a grand for this flashy watch. Imagine being able to just drop a grand on a watch, just like that?! I mean, if you can afford to do it, fair enough. But then bragging about on social media with your BT bags in the background... they must be loaded but whoever said 'money can't buy class' above was bang on.

All this to say that I don't think she realises it, but she brings half of it on herself with her obsession for HAVING STUFF. It's tacky as duck.

Also I'm not into judging anyone on their appearance at all, but she also doesn't realise that she'd look a million times better without the layers of make-up and the 'stenos'. I feel a bit sorry for her, she seems a bit lost at times.

I agree with ya though, ya have to feel sorry for her really. Eventually it will all hit her and the tears will start and a counsellor will end up making a fortune off it all

you’re dead right I have to say. She’s just EXTREMELY hard to like. I feel like if you met her at a party she would just talk about herself and her great life

I think what I find frustrating about Vicki is that she has the opportunity as the editor of Stellar to tailor it to the changing views of Irish society, particularly young Irish women, but instead it's just this constant reliance on the Instahuns. I used to buy the magazine every month but had to stop because I couldn't stomach seeing the same faces all the time. Plus I found the actual interviews with the cover stars were so empty and unrelatable, all talk about palettes and fake tan and followers and following their dreams, blah blah blah.

We all know that society is shifting and changing constantly and I think recognition and awareness of that would do Stellar a lot of favours. In fairness some of the features each month are well written and interesting so there are some talented writers, but the front covers are a total disappointment and put me off buying. Admittedly it was great to see Erica on the cover this month but I hope it's not a tokenistic once off!

Stellar/Vicki, give us a bit more credit and try some different pieces and stars, it might just pay off!

And as the previous poster said, the 10+ hours sleeping is crazy. Although as a lifelong light sleeper who goes through occasional bouts of anxiety induced insomnia, this might be more of a personal grudge! 😅
