How old is Vicki , 35? she has some serious older lady vibes Despite being in the beauty industry
I donot to know if it’s her previous filler or Botox etc but she looks aged for her ,I imagine young enough years

Really sorry to hear that happened. That sort of crap should be called out!

Is there anyway writers can prevent stuff like this from happening? Such as officially dating or time stamping pieces of work, trade marking etc? (although that probably costs a fortune, not practical etc)

Is using another writer’s pitch without giving credit considered a form of plagiarism?

I’m not in that line of work, excuse my ignorance.

I’ve only only ever flicked through that publication at the magazine stand in the supermarket, but always seemed to me that she and maybe one other staff member write all of the articles / pieces

I know a woman who went to pitch a few features ideas on an internship at a now defunct women’s magazine in London, she ended up having to go back home due to a family emergency and could not continue the internship. The mag published her article ideas with no credit to her. It seems to be a common thing in that industry.

Dishonesty and laziness on the part of those who steal other writers’ pitches without giving credit, and surely some form of plagiarism! 😡

Neither do I tbh! More interested in the guests but jaysis pity vicki wouldn't take a few weeks (months!) off. I get the feeling she micromanages the fun aspects of the job like celebs and freebies, but abandons the hard bits like deadlines and KPIs

Una Healy is on the cover of Stellar this month. Good to see that's 2 months in a row without an Instahun and it's nice to see a talented woman who's worked hard and built up a successful career. More of this please Vicki!

Yeah she’s 35 but looks a few years older as she’s a glutton and over eats so the extra weight and bad Botox has aged her. She has changed so much and so has the hubby with all the eating and boozing, sad :(

She is the biggest glutton. Can somebody tell me what the relationship with Vicki and Rosemary McCabe is ? Did they work together before

Not that I know of. Rosemary was deputy editor of Stellar for a period but that was before Vicki's time. Kirsty was editor at the time AFAIK. I'm sure their paths must've crossed at some stage, Irish media circles are pretty small.
