People in public while on speaker phone ( nobody else cares for your conversation). Even worse, people wandering around on video call. They have absolutely no idea what's going on around them and will just walk into others.
I dunno, I know a few people’s dates of birth, mother’s maiden name, first pet, first school - so many identities ripe for stealing thanks to speaker phone conversations 😂😂😂

Hate the game not the player.

Of course a family is going to buy their council house they have made their home for years at a discount if they are able and think it is their best option. Council tenants are not responsible for the lack of suitable housing for everyone else.

Plus preserved right to buy isn’t common in my experience and the discount for right to acquire is far less (£9-16k). Most housing association tenants aren’t even eligible for right to acquire. A lot of councils sold off their stock to HAs and unless you rented directly from the council/meet some other eligibility criteria, you don’t have the right to purchase your home just because you’re in social housing. It’s not the free-for-all it once was.

Of course they would, but they shouldnt have ever been allowed to. Ex council homes bought at discount and now being sold for half a mil is disgraceful. They misnanaged the housing stock and now we're overrun with concrete jungles.

Fortunately, it isnt common now. Usually just those with older contracts.

Is that an unpopular opinion? Bring me sunshine 🌞
A lot of people "love winter" and seem to make it their whole personality.

When in reality winter in the UK is bollocks. Damp, windy, rainy and generally miserable.

I think they all love the hallmark version of winter that doesn't happen in the UK

ETA and you wear jumpers outside and as soon as you come inside you are boiling. Winter is the worst season.

I don’t think all your points are relevant. Dogs have their own personalities. My one will point blank refuse to walk if it’s not her “route” so then I jave to carry her. At 6kg’s she’s small but let me tell you after a little bit it feels like 50!

🙋‍♀️ Also the owner of a small stubborn dog who 100% dictates where we go or don‘t go on our walks depending on how she feels that day!

I walked someone's dog when she came back from the hospital. He sat down and refused to move from the outside of a pizza shop. I didn't try to pull him along and just stood there like a lemon in the cold until he was ready.

My dog stands by the door of our local cafe because a man, who once works there, once gave her a treat. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I don't like being given breakfast in bed.

Sounds ungrateful I know but I'd rather sleep instead of pretending to being enthused about being given a Japanese styled breakfast. With smoked salmon and vegetables.

Agree ... Feels unhygienic and wrong. Breakfast in the kitchen for me.

I was under threat of being thrown out by my flatmate once and I went to the council to get out on the list.. they said are you pregnant/have kids/ junkie/alcoholic/asylum seeker? No . Well we won't do anything for you. mind you this was a few years ago
It’s still the same except because there are no homes really , they are using hotels / b&b’s for emergency accommodation and I used to pay our local holiday inn on average £2000-3000 a week to house the volumes of homeless families , and we were using every hotel on my town !!! and a large percentage were families who knew how to work the system not pay rent get turfed out by balliffs get emergency housing and continue the cycle , I would also like to add councils DO NOT GET discount at these hotels pay the going rate , plus pay for damages the “street homeless” (normally drug addicts) would cause , was a total headache I took numerous calls from angry hotel managers!!

I walked my friend’s dog once, he jumped in the canal and I couldn’t get him out, he was a big handsome golden lab.

Fortunately he loved swimming and swam for 3 miles while I ran alongside him, to the nearest lock, where he simply clambered out, shook himself thoroughly, then happily got back on the leash to walk home.

Apparently that was his usual routine, I wish she’d warned me! I thought he was going to drown.
