Watching Dolly's Fane event. It's so weird that she's been sat rehashing details of her love life and then casually mentions that her boyfriend's sister is in the audience who's been hearing it all!

She started off as fashion editor at The Sunday Times Style. I don't know, I think this, hosting, presenting etc seems more her thing than her desperately trying to make it as a writer and literary guru.
She knows she doesn’t have what it takes to become a writer, I think she realised that after the reviews on her book. She is better at the hosting interviewing thing, she looks the part, has the connections and it requires less skill than writing. Also, she cannot cope with criticism and hosting or presenting stuff is unlikely to give her any bad reviews! It’s an easy, safe and fun job for her. Turn up, look pretty, ask some questions. Drink some champagne, go home.

No disrespect to DJ but this is awful!
I already commented above about how all the luvvie books have the same cover- EIKAL looked like that years ago, I think they’ve just mocked up poor DJ’s book to look like a generic luvvie book

I agree, the publishers did her dirty on that cover design. It’s kind of sad as that cover won’t appeal to men and DJ’s advice deserves to be accessible to everyone
