I do find it amusing how absolutely fuming Jordan Pickford looks when he has to do anything.

I think Gareth needs to get the whale music out for him and get him to chill out.

My partner- a very bitter bluenosed twit told me Pickford goes to see a psychologist. Also, he does this with everton too. He isnt scared to shout at the players. Me, i still dont forgive Pickford for his disgusting assault on Van Dyke during the derby, but my partner is very happy. Neither of us get particularly excited over England. We are both very much club over country but we love it when our club players do well, So i am buzzing for Hendo getting his goal.

Liverpool Fan too here I’ll be honest he could personally score the winning goal in the final and I’d still think he’s a twit.
Me too so we’ll deserved.

Haha. I was just going to add on my previous comment that Pickford could win us the world cup, but i will forever remember him for that assault on Van Dyke.
I honestly sound like such a bitter twit when it comes to England, but my dad always instilled that he was 'Scouse'- that was his nationality and it has passed on to me. Plus, remember the 2000's- world cup 2006 for example, i just couldnt support the likes of Rooney, Terry, Ferdinand etc. To me they still represented their clubs, and i always think of England as more of a London/southern team. And i remember during the world cup 2006 i worked in a sports bar and during the normal football season we would get to know all the regular supporters of teams, but as soon as England played the bar would be full of random people who never came in prior to that, and 99% of them were such arseholes to us bar maids (abit like the wankers who only ever go out once a year during xmas and act like entitled twats towards barstaff).
I think the culture of England is abit better now, i watched an interview the other year where Lampard, Gerrard and Ferdinand talked about the club divisions that occurred during their time with England and how they were not friends with each other, never bonded, the liverpool lads kept to themselves, the utd lads did, chelsea also did. And they were all very much about their clubs. I think the england lads now all seem to have a genuine bond which is nice. Dont get me wrong, i dont want england to lose or anything like that. But i love watching the tournament in general and hoping all the liverpool players do well. And its nice to be a kinda neutral about it all, because when its Liverpool i am so emotionally invested, and the result would literally decide how my mood is for the next week. (i hope that makes sense, im a bit delirious due to no sleep, a UTI, and strong antibiotics ) :)

I never get nervous watching England (I’m usually too bored) but when watching club football (city supporter) I get nervous. Obviously still support England but I’d also pick club over country. I like to see city players do well internationally but if they go out early at least they get more rest for city.

Scouse not English is genuinely strange….

I prefer my domestic team in every way possible, would rather they win any trophy (fa, premier) over England doing the same. But I am english. I often feel that’s unfortunate and don’t love this country, but ultimately, I am English. Full stop. So scouse not english is genuinely weird to me. Yeh well done you are from Liverpool, but that’s a place not a country. If Sussex decided to be independent you bet I’d be behind it, but that fact is I want my national team to bring it home and I’ll back these boys no matter what
