jesus, why would both of them have to go and leave the children alone?!I’ve been told by someone who knows her she was at sainsburys with her boyfriend. That completely seals it for me as blatant neglect.

That’s what I’m thinking. Any sympathy I may have had left when I heard that.jesus, why would both of them have to go and leave the children alone?!
also, regardless of that, if she really couldn't find someone to watch the children but had to get something urgent she should have RUN to the supermarket and been in and out as soon as she possibly couldThat’s what I’m thinking. Any sympathy I may have had left when I heard that.
I’ve been told by someone who knows her she was at sainsburys with her boyfriend. That completely seals it for me as blatant neglect. Before I heard that, I was holding no judgement having never had 4 under 5s but that’s it for me.
I agree but I was trying to hold out no judgement having never walked the shoes of a 27 year old single mum of 4 children under 5, holding down a full time job. That’s all pointless now though and more fool me.Even IF you had 4 under 5, there is time to go shopping? The 2 eldest were at the school down the road. Could she not have gone during the day?
Was she at sainsburys? I’m not too sure.
My heart is with the neighbours and firefighters who had to deal with that last night

I agree, there is no need to physically go food shopping anymore, and especially not too Sainsbury’s - it’s expensive.I keep seeing too many people trying to be sympathetic here, giving the mother the benefit of the doubt, IMO. Maybe she had to work? There is no excuse for leaving four little children home alone, absolutely none. It’s unthinkable. It’s insane.
Anyway, it seems like it wasn’t even that. Wouldn’t surprise me that it’s another Asiah Kudi… left alone regularly and the mother kept getting away with it so she kept doing it.
and then it even sounds like she just strolled back smoking a cigarette, not even in a rush. I also don't get who would see their house on fire and not be in a huge panic, even without anyone inside!I agree, there is no need to physically go food shopping anymore, and especially not too Sainsbury’s - it’s expensive.
If it was an emergency e.g kids medicine you would go to the corner shop or drag the kids out with you.
Agreed. When I had covid I got Deliveroo to deliver me some Morrisons shopping. You make do and mend.I agree, there is no need to physically go food shopping anymore, and especially not too Sainsbury’s - it’s expensive.

True bet this was not the first time those little ones have been left alone.I keep seeing too many people trying to be sympathetic here, giving the mother the benefit of the doubt, IMO.
