I think it's so sad that 100k people know those poor kids business and they haven't even a clue they met their own dad yesterday. 😥 I get she's trying to protect them but there's no need to tell the world when she can't even tell them they were meeting their dad.

What’s stopping little jimmy that’s in the same school as the twins, who overheard his mammy watching instagram telling the twins in the school yard at lunchtime…
Or the whispers of the 6th class kids who think it’s so cool to have a following on instagram finding out who the twins are and then following Julie.
They’re getting older, lying to them is a BIG mistake.

How many people do you think have 6k just lying around incase their kids need braces or even just sitting in their bank? Not a lot. Fly away back to cukoo land there because it can't be this country you live in if you think people are that fortunate.

I agree. The term “squeezed middle” (people who work full time, mortgage, pension, kids) should be bandied around more. While Julie & the Merry Widows gormless daughter get the 5 star treatment for free. I stopped following gorry that day. And encourage everyone to do the same. Or as she’d say: “de say-yum”. Idiot.
 
The irony of her trotting out her psycho babble collected from a few episodes of Dr.Phil.If they are old enough to realise a robin is grandads reincarnated form they are old enough to know the difference between being dead and living far away.And those proposed FaceTimes etc would help break the link between being dead and living far away.
Funny how it wasn't too traumatic to meet up with the long lost cousins last month,no fear of the kids thinking they had risen from the dead.
Could reconnecting with their dad be any more damaging than the life she has given them..falling asleep in pubs,neglected injuries,missed their entire early years education,dumped on anyone who'll take them,no speech interventions,ipad addiction...
 
Who really believes a 5 year old will understand the difference between going away and dying? We as parents do everything we can to protect our kids minds they imagine all sorts we teach them to use there imagination so of course in these situations you have to do as much as you an to protect them from any harm, I'm no fan but I am a single parent and know this decision did not come easy and honestly she was good enough to let him see them remember those kids have been through alot in their young lives and he hasn't been around for any of it.. I don't agree with her telling the whole story especially if someone was to hear it and tell them but that's something she will have to take full responsibility for if that does happen.

She was good enough to let him see the kids? He's their dad. Imagine if she didn't let him and in a few years time they found out coz they will see everything she does it's all recorded for everyone to see. How is she gonna explain that? She needs to put those kids first and get over the fact that he doesn't want a relationship with her...

Five year olds have to be able to cope with the concept of death because it's something mainstream they are likely to encounter.Grandparents,ill extended family members,near neighbours etc There are so many resources out there to help them process this.Convincing them every bird they see is a returned deceased person isn't particularly helpful.
Children have to cope with emigrated siblings,close aunts and uncles living away,some children have parents in the army deployed for months.Again a good parent would be interested in differentiating between dead and far away.The suggested Face-timing would have helped..
Ask for her being good enough to let him see them?? She has made a career bitching he won't so can hardly refuse her dream come true? She might feel like telling him f**k off understandably but in reality how could rule out the opportunity for them to reignite a relationship??
 
Bitter twisted Julie will probably have him plagued with psycho text messages begging him to be a real family for the twins sake. She was crying behind her sunglasses for herself not them. I know loads of people and a few kids whose parents died when they were 5 and younger and they knew their parent was dead. Maybe her children are extra dim or She's extra dim. She also looks better than she has in ages. There was a big effort put in for Jessie
