Got my first static smiley today – but the other half has come home from work early because he’s not feeling well! I'm so annoyed and he's annoyed at me that I'm more concerned about doing the deed tonight than I am about him feeling sick!

Feel like that’s ruled out this month now….we dtd on Monday, but hoped to do tonight, tomorrow and then Saturday too.

I hate all this 'fertile window' bull s**t – Its so frustrating! And I turn 40 this year so don’t have time to waste ☹
Frustrating but maybe Monday was a chance and hopefully he’ll be feeling better tomorrow. Fingers crossed for you x

AF just showed up three days late so onto a new cycle for me. My husband works away a lot and then when he is home is tired so I normally end up feeling disappointed and annoyed if he doesn’t want to try as much as I would like in fertile period. Trying not to make a thing out of it, he is very relaxed and says it will happen when it happens but just seen yet another pregnancy announcement and thinking when will it be my turn. And here I was thinking TTC would be fun 😂

Hi all, does anybody on here have an overactive thyroid? Currently going through the TTC journey whilst dealing with and up and down thyroid and it’s very difficult to go through when nobody else understands! X

Question about the clear blue ovulation sticks: when there is a static smiley face, do we count the day after that as 1dpo or would the day after also be the day of ovulation as the smiley face indicates the next 48 hours are you most fertile??

I believe it indicates peak LH which means you are due to ovulate in the following 24 hours. The only way to confirm ovulation is with basal temperature testing if you can get the hang of it.

I confirm ovulation with bbt and I usually ovulate 2 days after peak ovulation sometimes 3!

My husband has caught man flu at the worst possible time so I don’t think our timing is the best this cycle. It’s looking like we only covered up to 2 days before 0 now :(
