So glad I found this forum. My husband and I have been watching Dan and Mazzy for a couple years now, from when they were stuck in Ireland. I admit it's a guilty pleasure, like slowing down to get a better look at a car wreck. Speaking of car wrecks--how could Dan be so stupid as to drive around with the brake light showing on the dashboard? He could have killed someone if the brakes failed, which they were about to do. Those lights are there for a reason.

Anyway, it's good to know other people find them as pathetic as we do. To be fair, we do feel sorry for Mazzy. In one of her own videos (has she stopped doing those?) she asked if she should do a vlog on her struggles with depression. I wish she had, as that might have shed some light as to why she stays with Dan. And like so many here, we don't understand how she could be away from her youngest daughter for so long. She's missing her little girl's childhood to spend her days walking around one boring English town after another, followed by cooking a huge meal for Dan. And she'll never get those years back.

The most irritating vlogs for me are the ones with Neal. I know Dan thinks he's funny when he pesters him as he's working on their motorhome--ordering him around, calling him his apprentice, pretending he's his boss, etc. He's like a 12 year old boy who's latched on to a joke that he thinks is hilarious even though nobody else does and he keeps doing it. I can't see how Neal puts up with it. Neal and Emma let them stay for free in their driveway, they give them free home cooked meals and Neal does major repairs on thier motorhome for free. The operative word here is free. Instead, of being grateful, he acts like a jerk.

Anyway, we'll keep on watching them, hoping maybe someday Mazzy will come to her senses and realize she deserves to be with someone better than Dan.

I'm willing to bet that at least half to two thirds of their 7,500 views are from people like my husband and me, who tune in to see, as you said, what pathetic thing Dan will come up with next. Certainly not for the honest, insightful reviews or the great photography. Maybe it would help if he got a drone--oh wait, somebody gave him one. Anyone remember Buzz-bee? I guess he must have crashed it a long time ago.

And Mazzy fussed over him like he was a sick child. In our house, if you're hung over, it's your own damn fault and no one feels sorry for you.
 
So now she's booked 2 weeks in Tunisia for them both. What about her child?!! He won't go if they need injections. I am speechless at where their money comes from and why she doesn't see her young daughter for a holiday
 
Like many, we watch purely to take the piss out of them, as they paddle around, migrants from the shallow end of the gene pool. What is obvious, is that he takes the piss out of her, as she panders to his every whim, waiting on him hand and foot. Not that I have not one jot of sympathy for someone who would rather swan around with that freeloading parasite, that raise her own child. This is the wierdest set up. We will continue to watch Car Crash TrollsTV, purely for the opportunity to rip them to pieces.
 
Ok Mazzy we get it you want to cleanse your mind and body, how many bloody times did you have to say it! It was like you were trying to convince yourself you were doing it. Yes come off the alcohol you've turned into a piss head and if you cleanse your mind you may just realize what a head your bowing down too.

She came across so uneducated tho this isn't a dig but she thought there was gluten in potatoes but not in couscous and her pronunciation of falafel too. He just seemed uninterested until the showy introduction to it
 
Oh my God, I have just watched this head reviewing a Smart Microphone. What an arse! He is incapable on carrying out a coherent, intelligent review. Why on earth do manufacturers and distributors send this guy stuff? He clearly holds them in contemps, I mean, how dare companies (who have sent him hundreds or even thousands of pounds worth of kit) be so rude as to bother him by emailing and asking where their review is? Parasitic pond life.

Omg 9 she is still a baby , I think she has older ones to ? , Well I am going to say it she has abandoned a 9 year old to get driven about in a mobile home she is a bad mum and I hope her kids disown her
 
Mazzy if your going to wear bloody wigs at least brush them, Dan must be eating it with his dinner. His dinners that most people would dish up for two! Who eats a whole pack of burgers, who eats a whole pack of kievs or whatever they were. The man is an absolute pig and he has no shame in demanding his meals
 
Another review what an idiot, why companies bother sending them their products I can’t understand. He probably put it straight in the bin after like all the other product reviews they do to be never seen again
 
Why on gods earth has any company sent them an expensive paddle board, or any paddle board! It must be a joke and purely for entertainment value. He hadn't even done his homework about it as he couldn't even remember the company who sent it to them. He rolled it up wrong to put it away so it could already be punctured and as for the special guests, they are the only people that they ever meet up with! This board will be like the bikes and the everything else they get, seen once then never seen again. Mazzy in a bikini is going to be something to be seen too, or maybe not, i bet it's up the crack of her arse.
 
Their whole channel is becoming so so boring now they've now progressed since before lockdown! They've even stopped doing lives and going to meet up boring af
 
The Expawers just did a video on how much money YouTubers really earn. As it turns out, not much. But posting reviews brings in more, like enough to actually live on.

Here's how it works:

Third parties reach out to YouTubers and offer them free products plus they pay them an agreed upon amount for the video. Like £100-200. (Of course they have to see the video first and obviously, if it's not positive, they won't pay you for it.)

I'm sure they go by the amount of subscribers and not the content. It's a relatively cheap form of advertising--the cost of the item plus a couple hundred quid and you've got 7,000 pairs of eyeballs on your product. Even if the guy doing the review is totally clueless.

So no wonder Dan is giving glowing reviews to everything he can get his hands on. He's making way more than he can wheedle out of his patreons.
