Clapping back seriously. She’s a massive twit. Why not just admit you didn’t have a clue and are thankful people have pointed it out so you can correct it before sending it in?

I’m a single parent and don’t have the disposable income she does and I do/give way more to these types of things. I don’t do it for clout, I actually know these things exist and I buy things all year when I see stuff on sale etc and then we either donate to a childrens ward or share amongst local collections etc.

A notebook and pen is the literal worst gift you can give someone, especially a child who probably has very little! That just screams “no effort”, she just grabbed them because it had Pac-Man on. The child might not even know what pac man is!! There is SO much more she could have done and gaming is actual super easy! A quick google will show you loads of cool gaming bits without being console centric.

I feel desperately sorry for the young people receiving those gaming bags. Again, why take the tags if you are super unsure? I’m not a girly girl and don’t have a clue about make up etc so if there was a tag for that I’d leave it so someone else more knowledgeable and who enjoys the topic more could do it!

What Aimee should have done:

ONE TikTok showing the process, the tree, an example of the tags. Link directly to Dunelms official website/information page about it. Show herself picking up a tag if she must. Done.

But no, she thought she was clever and wanted to show off what she’d bought expecting everyone to lick her arse. twit. It’s so crass, especially after just dumping over a grand on her daughters birthday!
 
Like so many of you, as a family we do something for charity every Christmas. A few times we’ve done a big box of stuff for the food banks, including advent calendars. Since my Dad passed away in 2020, we’ve done small gifts for all the staff in the hospice that cared for him, we’ve all clubbed together. It’s not been posted on social media or anything like that. She needs to realised that just because people aren’t as lucky as her, doesn’t mean a bag of tat is appropriate, and spreading it all over her TikTok for views, money etc, that’s just unbelievable. All she actually wants is to spend as little as possible whilst getting as many huns as possible blowing smoke in her arse!! She honestly makes me rage 😡
 
I’ve only just watched what she got for them and it really is pathetic. She would’ve been better grabbing one ticket or two and spent the same on less but she had to be excessive and gifted tit and thoughtless. Usually I wouldn’t comment on the amount but as a woman living mortgage free earning thousands on TikTok every month I find her attempt very telling of how selfish she really is. She’d have been better giving a Game voucher and then some Nike socks, a Lynx set and some other bits too. She is a disaster. What teenage boy is going to want a stupid Mickey cup? I wouldn’t have wanted it as a girl let alone a boy. Glad she’s been pulled about it, next time hopefully she’ll leave it to people who genuinely care instead of just doing it for accolades from the great unwashed which are her brainless minions.

Definitely a cheap snide poster for a few quid. The official licensed poster is £8 on the website or EMP, wouldn’t exactly break her bank getting one of them and a t.shirt. The gaming gift bags are suitable for a 7 year old. She should have just done the board game one and put an extra couple of games in.

I have never ever ever ever bought any of my kids a notebook and pen as a birthday or Christmas gift or even as a stocking filler
If they asked for a notebook, I would buy them one. But it’s never happened
I must have a weird family! Lol
 
She ABSOLUTELY did it for validation! She could have been humble and literally done it silently and said she had and left it there. If she was being a good person she would have really thought about it, put herself in their shoes. Those people - as its not just kids there are elderly and all sorts of people on those tags, have literally nothing, imagine having to fill in a tag to receive maybe the only thing you will get for xmas, a day so hyped up that some of these kids may actually dread. Utterly breaks my heart to know that these people may not be looked after or thought of in a season all about giving to others. To think if it was my kids I would go to hell and back to make sure they had something decent to open!
She "didn't know those games existed" they're all over bloody tit-tok and I'm sure Miss H has whined about them, only reason she bought them is because she knows her effort was piss poor. I can't even bring myself to hate watch as it's humiliating for those of us that do things selflessly without having to make money off it 😡

I can remember the first year I ever done was at a place local to me and I was late to getting the tags, there was only 2 left, one was a 5 year old wee girl looking for a dolly the other was a 12 year old boy who simply asked for a pair of pyjamas. I can’t think about it even to this day without getting upset because I couldn’t think of any 12 year old I knew being content with just a pair of pjs. That wee boy and wee girl got more than they asked for off me and it was from that day I vowed to make sure I did this every year.

My first one was a teenage girl who wanted a make up head band & pjs 🥺 I only have boys & nephews so yes I did go a little overboard but primark was perfect! We got her pjs dressing gown fluffy socks face masks & some makeup wipes the headband and some bits of makeup & a makeup bag it literally cost my 45/50 but with all the girly stuff I couldn't stop 🙈

We also do the pet ones a cat & a dog usually as I'm a complete animal lover ❤️ and can't bear to think of an animal without a toy or a blanket 🥺🥺

She’s the biggest patronising bleep and she knows it. She also knows the toothless brainless ones will also attack anyone who says different. She’s the most manipulative witch and I hope when her dad pops his clogs she gets nothing but that mouse and herpes infested hovel she’s currently slobbing in!!
