She must see that she’s made little effort. I mean a poster is ridiculous, she will have had that kids age, get a tshirt or something. An item of clothing with their favourite band is something useful to them. The board game one is the only gift I would say she’s done well on.
 
Watching that gift bag video made me feel sad for those kids just getting that on Christmas Day. For the music fan, the poster is a crap gift and a Green Day mug would have been better than the Christmas cup, they have them on the official store. She should have just got one tag and made the effort to make on really special gift bag. With what she spends on rubbish in a week she could have got them a record player and Green day dookie or American anniversary vinyl for less.

First of all she says she researched what gifts to give .Then she says she didnt realise tiktok did hand held games ( they do and they're really good) So her research was as tit as her gifts. She bought extra as even her huns are calling her out.
She won't buy gift cards as that doesn't look as flamboyant and generous as a large bag full of tat.Its all about presentation for her ,not what the kids actually want. My 14 year old gamer son said ,whilst he would say thank you if he got the gifts ,he wouldn't use them. What teen boy writes in a notebook ? And the Christmas cup is childish and has limited use. A Spotify voucher or a download voucher would have been far better than a bloody poster .The teens are obviously listening to Green Day on some kind of platform .
I hope if she does it again ,she does it quietly and without fuss . And that she gets things kids will actually enjoy ,rather than what the baby " Miss Harper" would want.

She is gonna ruin Christmas for more disadvantaged kids I’m so angry and believe me I’m a softy in real life. My parents used to buy a gift via the council in my area they would buy such lovely presents one year they bought an x box console and a games voucher she is a piece of 💩 and she has the gall to stand there and act like she’s effin Santa 😡😡😡
I’m not saying everyone can afford something extravagant but take one tag and put a decent Argos gift card in it and be done ✔

The crap she bought for the teen who wanted Green Day .......she could have bought an Mp3 Player with a voucher. But that only looks like a " small" present and she couldn't swan into Dunhelm,brandishing 4 large bags of tat .

I don’t do Dunelm, but I have been doing the shoe boxes for nearly 30 years, since my own kids were small and more thought goes into my little boxes and it’s not always new stuff that goes in. Friends & fam are always passing on to me great condition gloves, hats & scarves, toys, books etc. it enables me to do more boxes, makes me happy, makes friends & fam happy they helped, and hopefully make the child happy too
I am always putting an appeal out for empty shoe boxes on my local FB page. :) I think people must call me the mad box lady

They could quite easily already have that poster. Plus folded flat like that and not rolled in one of those cardboard tubes, I bet it’s a crap poster

depending on the living situation of the teenager, a poster might not be suitable anyway, but that’s another thing that she obviously doesn’t understand

You know what I feel so so sad that woman has zero empathy if she thinks that that load of shite is good enough for teens that may have had the worst time ever (and fully understand what’s happening) then she needs to check her humanity.
I would give til it hurts and if I couldn’t afford something decent I wouldn’t bother doing it just to look good to strangers by insulting a kid by giving them a load of junk when they’re already feeling bad.
